CHAPTER 3

"Ok let's go then".Kuroo said.

I  led the way and Kuroo followed after me.We were in grade 4 at the time.

When my mom heard I was bringing a friend over she was ecstatic,because I didn't have any friends I always stayed indoors.

"Welcome Tetsuro".My mon said as she was cooking dinner.

I went to my room and Kuroo followed me.

"Kuroo a-are you s-sure your parents won't be mad if y-you're here"I said stuttering a bit.

"No I informed my mom about it so don't worry,let's go".Kuroo said dragging me by the arm.

He was our class prefect and everyone liked him for his personality.He was kind,caring and smart and I always wanted him for a friend but was too shy to approach him.

We went to my room and played video games and did our homework.Not long after,my mom announced that dinner was ready.

We started eating and my mom broke the silence.

"So Tetsuro why did you befriend my son,mostly people avoid him because he's always indoors."my mom asked sadly.

"Mrs. Kozume,Kenma Is cool and quiet not like other kids so that's why I befriended him".Kuroo said with a smile on his face.

I turned to see him smiling and I quickly averted my gaze.

"Well thank you,I was worried my son won't have any friends until he was 50".My mom said stifling a laugh.
And Kuroo chuckled.

"MOM!!".I said frustrated.

"What, isn't that the truth"My mum said stifling another laugh.

Since that day Kuroo had been coming over to our house and became like a second son to my parents and I to his.We were inseparable.

Soon enough I started developing feelings for Kuroo in a romantic way

~end of flashback~

Hey.
Hey kenma.
Earth to Kenma.

Kenma snapped back into reality and saw Bokuto trying to gain his attention.

"yeah Bokuto".Kenma said trying to avoid being asked any questions.

"you spaced out there,I was just snapping you back into reality".Bokuto said with a smile on his face.

"Oh yeah I'm fine Bokuto no need to worry".Kenma said forcing a smile."let's focus on the movie".

And with that they continued watching the movie.
Bokuto was scared as usual.
Akaashi had an expressionless face,so did Kenma.
Yaku was scared and tried to coneal it.
Lev was unfazed by the scary scenes and tried to comfort Yaku.

After 1-2hours the movie ended,with everyone satisfied with the outcome.

They had a late night snack and Bokuti,Akaashi and Yaku left since they all had classes the next morning.

Kenma bid Lev goodnight and went to his room.

When he entered his room he slumped onto the bed and reached for his phone.kuroo never came.

He scrolled through his messages and saw that Kuroo never texted him.He intended to call him but decided against it.

He then played some games and double checked his project work to see if there were any mistakes.He has nothing better to do.

He took some pills and went to sleep tomorrow was gonna be stressful.

Kenma woke up to the sound of his alarm blaring.He got up made his bed and headed to the bathroom.

After he brushed his teeth and showered he went to his room and dressed.

He wore ripped jeans with boots and choose a comfy oversized sweatshirt.

He went downstairs to make himself some breakfast.He decided on eggs on toast with orange juice.

When he was done it was 6:10 and he went to wake Lev up. Thankfully he was already up and in the shower.

He texted Kuroo to see if he could walk with him to School.

Kuroo told him he had already gone.Kenma couldn't help but feel that Kuroo had been avoiding him.He wasn't too far off.

He decided to call Y/N since you had the same lessons as he did.

"Hey Kenma whats up."you said.
"Hey Y/N are you in class yet."Kenma said hopefully.
"No. why?"
"I was hoping we could walk to class together."Kenma said somewhat relieved.
"Okay,no prooblem.Then I'm on my way meet you infront of your dorm."You said.
"Okay bye."Kenma said with a hint of happiness.

He needed a friend by his side and you were the perfect candidate.You always looked out for him even though you weren't particularily close.

Kenma met Y/N and they walked to class together.You guys joked on the way and laughed.

You went to class together and sat with Y/N.You were becoming close because the one person Kenma was always with was now avoiding him.
