"No, no, no !" He said. "You are so cute when you feel embarassed..."
"So you're making fun of me", she stated.
"Maybe a tiny bit, please forgive me, you were so cute trying to find your words without saying 'sex' ", he said, with a laugh.
She put her face into her hands.
"Now you're going to think I'm a prudish, priggish, stuffy, puritanical girl..." she said in despair.
He laughed again.
"I swear I won't", he said, touching her cheek. "I find you sweet and am quite impressed that you remained faithful to your values."
"Really ?" She said, with a tiny hope.
"Really."
She smiled back at him and felt a bit released by his words.
After they finished to eat, Henry offered her to watch a movie. They sat in the couch, and Alya got closer to him. He raised the arm to put it behind her back, glad she wanted to be close to him. He kissed her on the forehead and she turned to him.
She was staring as his lips, obviously wanting to kiss him, but he didn't move at all. She hesitated, but finally got closer to him until her lips touched his. Henry tought it was even better this way, and hardly keeped a groan for himself.
The film started as they splitted, smiling at each others. Alya placed her head on his shoulder and they remained silent for a moment, listening to the movie.
"Did you like it ?" He asked.
"I love musicals, yes", she said, smiling.
"Alya", he said, looking very serious at the sudden.
"W-What ?" She asked, with a bit of fear in her voice.
"I have a shooting very soon, and I was wondering if you would come with me for a few days", he said in one breath. "I know this is very quick, but..."
She opened wide her eyes, hardly believing what she heard.
"I-I'll be glad to come of course, but, is this serious ? I mean between us... You really want me to meet people you know and all that stuff? We met last week for the first time and... I quite like you already, but I don't want to give in too much if this is not going anywhere. I know I'm a dreamer, and..."
Henry put a finger on her lips in order to make her stop talking.
"You know me enough to be aware that I'm nothing like those men you talked about", he said. "I'm not having fun beeing alone, I certainly have access to many women, but none of them want me for me, they only see the public figure, not me. You are diferent, you are interested in who I really am, am I right ?"
"Of course but..."
"Then what's wrong ? I want the same thing as you, find the right person, settle down, I want to have someone who can put her life aside to stand by me, with the specificities of my lifestyle. And I believe you may be this person. Plus I'm already 33 and I want to be a dad someday..."
She caressed his cheek, feeling the regrowth of his beard.
"I'll come", she stated looking at him in the eyes.
He smiled at her, feeling so happy his words convinced her, as he was speaking the truth.
"When do you leave?" She asked
"Next week, I know this is quite short to organize you..."
"Oh don't worry about that, I can pack a bag quicker than you ever imagine", she said, "but there is something you have to do before I can come with you..."
"Tell me", he said, curious.
"Hum... Would you mind to come over to my place and like... meet my dad ?" She said obviously very embarassed. "I know this is very quick to meet him but you know he's really, I mean REALLY old-fashionned and he would feel better if he met you before I leave with you"
He laughed.
"I don't mind really, please don't get worked up about it. Plus you already met my parents..."
"Oh dear, I almost forgot actually. I'm not an expert at dating, but I'm pretty sure things aren't meant to happen in this order", she added.
He bursted into laughter and she can't help but finding him adorable. And perfect. And cute.

A few days later...
"Dad, he's gonna be here in minutes, please don't do anything weird", she prayed him.
"Of course I won't, I know how to behave !" he replied, a bit offended.
"Do you want me to remember you what happen last time I invited someone ?" she asked
"C'mon you're not talking about that little incident again, it happened years ago, I wasn't ready for you to date and I guessed I overeact."
"Dad, you told him you'll gonna track him down like a rabbit..."
"Ok, maybe... I swear this time I'll be the perfect guest", he promessed, "Do you think this guy can be the one ?"
"I hope so"
"Dear Lord, help me with this one", he whispered for himself.
"What did you say ?" She asked, but her attention was drown over by someone knocking at the door.
She forgot her dad and ran to the door, completely focused on the fact that Henry was here.
She opened the door to find Henry standing there, wearing a big black duffle coat, opened on a grey shirt.
"Good evening, please come in" she said, smiling at him.
He kissed her on the cheek as he noticed her dad behind her. He made a few steps inside the house and held a hand to her father.
"Hello Sir, pleased to me meet you" said Henry.
Alya's father, Patrick, looked at him from the bottom to the top while holding his hand.
"It's funny how you look exactly like the guy who plays Superman" he said as an answer.
"You didn't tell him ?" said Henry while turning towards Alya with a grin.
