Dillard is walking home. He wears a set of earphones that is connected to the Trevio phone.
"Thanks for bringing me with you, Dillard," Agnes says.
"Bringing you? You mean your phone?" Dillard responds as he continues to walk casually. The pedestrian is quite crowded.
"Ah yes, that is what I mean."
"Why though? You could just contact me through my own cellphone," he curiously asks.
"Well, um, I'm kinda embarrassed to admit it, but currently I'm disconnected from general internet. This phone is my only means to reach you."
"Disconnected? But how ...?"
"Pssst Dillard! Don't look back," she suddenly cuts his words. "I detect two Bluetooth signals with unique IDs that's been in close proximity to you constantly since you left your workplace."
"What the ...," Dillard responds in shock. "Are we being followed?"
"Yes, exciting right?" she answers without the slightest hint of concern.
Dillard whispers with a high tone, "Excuse Me! What's going on? Am I going to be kidnaped?" He stops walking and turns his head left and right trying to locate the stalkers.
"Don't stop! Keep walking, and no need to panic," she concisely advises. "The probability they are amateurs is high. They not even turning their Bluetooth off."
"Gee, Am I supposed to be fine with that?" Dillard responds sarcastically.
"I'll explain later. Please don't go home yet. Just walk somewhere until they are gone."
Dillard is both confused and concerned. He is having doubts.
Damn, this is shady as hell
Why did I agree to this
There is no turning back now
"Promise me that you help me to get along with Nora!" he demands.
"Oh my, first name basis already?" she teases him. "No worries there."
Dillard continues to walk for a while. Eventually, the people who followed him disappear, and he goes straight home.
