Yua at the top.

Ambrosia POV

We walked in through the school gates and to the front of the building were two students waiting for us. Yuki Cross and Zero Kiryu.

"Hi! You must be Rosia and Yua" Yuki exclaimed as Yua glared at her.

"It's Hunter-senpai to you. We aren't close to be on first level name base and we're older than you" Yua snapped as I shot her a glare.

"Don't be rude to Cross-san" I told her as she pursed her lips and looked away from her "please excuse her behavior it appears I've spoiled her too much. It's a pleasure to meet you both."

"No no it's ok" Yuki said nervously "it was my fault for addressing you two so rudely. How'd you know we're younger though?"

"Your father told me" I said with a secretive smile while I felt Zero's stare on me the whole time.

Level E...

"I would like to speak with the headmaster before we settle down" I said as Yuki nodded and immediately led me to his office.

"Thank you Cross-san" I said as she bowed.

"O-of course" she said flustered as I bowed my head towards Zero catching him off guard.

He returned the nod eventually while looking away though. Right when I was about to walk in the man I was hoping to avoid until the final battle appeared before me.

"Oh... I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going.." he said drifting off as he stared at me for a bit too long.

Does he remember? No I doubt it... I erased his memories of my appearance. So he can't.

"Excuse me" I said as I passed him avoiding eye contact while Yua followed behind me linking her arm with mine.

Before we walked in I noticed Yuki try to grab Kaname's attention. Nice save!

"Ah! Lady Rosia and Yua" Kaien Cross exclaimed "I'm so happy you're attending!"

"Of course. We told a couple of our peers that we were to be transferring here so you might get extra students" I said as Yua hid behind me.

She didn't like Kaien for some odd reason I never understood and she wouldn't tell me. I don't read her mind if she doesn't want me to. I also have it blocked so other vampires wouldn't be able to read it.

"Yes thank you so much" he said as I smiled "for bringing humans and vampires."

"Of course. After all I am a part of the Hunters Association. What better way to keep tabs on rebellious teenage vampires than to bring them here as punishment" I said as he nodded.

"Well on that note. I forgot to mention to my daughter and son" he said referring to Zero and Yuki "that you also know the existence of vampires. I'll have to tell them, but for now you will also be joining a committee that they have. You two will be a guardian for Cross Academy with them!"

"What" Yua shrieked "but I thought we only came here for school!"

"Yua please stop whining" I sighed with a smile as she rolled her eyes.

Ah~ the terrible teenage years humans go through.

"Anyway here are uniforms as well as some direction I drew out for you to where your dorm is" Kaien said happily as I took them.

"Thank you, Cross" I said as he stopped me.

"We've known each other for years now I don't know why you don't call me Kaien" he said softly, but I left him with no response as I walked out the door.

"CC" Yua softly called as I looked to her with a smile.

She's honestly a good kid, but only when it's just the two of us. I don't know why she finds ways to dislike other people, other than me. When she was younger she was just shy, but as she grew older it was like she put up these walls.

"Come one let's go get settled down" I said as we walked to our room with her clinging onto my arm.

She's very possessive as well.

As we walked down the hall, students seemed to be walking out of their classes and awing at us. They made a path for us to walk through as they just stared.

This is kind of odd...

I smiled and waved at a couple as their faces turned red and they nervously waved back all flustered.

"Don't mind us please carry on ladies" I smiled as they all grew hearts for their eyes and I felt Yua tighten her hold on me so I looked down at her as she glared at me.

Don't tell me she's jealous. Not again... what am I going to do with her.

Some girl was walking and didn't see where she was going so she accidentally slipped on a pencil on the ground making me quickly catch her.

I bent down to her level our faces inches apart as my long blonde hair encircled her.

"Are you alright hun" I asked as she nodded quickly and Yua yanked me back as she glared at the girl who I was able to pull back on her feet "watch where you're going next time. I can't always be there to protect you" I winked as fire was coming out of Yua "relax~" I whispered as I cupped her cheek moving closer to her ear "I'll always be yours Yua."

Immediately she calmed down and a dust of pink showed on her cheeks while everyone just stared at us drooling.

Fangirling much?

I looked back at the map once the girl got back in line with the other students away from Yua's menacing glare. These are poorly written directions, but I think I got it. We walked down the hall into another building then went upstairs and not long after we found our room.

"That was an adventure" I sighed as Yua plopped on the bed.

"So much walking" she whined as she took off her shoes "I can't believe you already started flirting with a human girl!"

"I wasn't flirting" I said "I was helping her and being nice something you should practice more on."

"Ugh! CC you're so annoying" she huffed as she smacked her face on the bed and threw a fit "you don't get it!"

Did I seriously raise a five year old?

I finished unpacking our stuff which were just some extra clothes and other necessities. It wasn't much since we travel light. I tossed the uniform to Yua as she looked at it disgustingly.

"That boy was wearing a white one" she said softly "it looks much more cuter than this black uniform. You'd look so much better in it than he ever could."

"We're going to meet up with Yuki and Zero to perform the guardians duties. So try to act nice" I said as I finished up changing "I know you don't like Yuki, but you barely even know her."

"She's a Kuran" she spat "a pureblood who was turned into a human. I would give anything to be a vampire."

She knows everything I know, some stuff I tell her and other stuff she finds out. She's really sneaky and smart, but doesn't admit it.

"No" I said seriously as I kneeled beside her "I won't let you live this horrible life. My promise was to keep you safe and protect you. Turning you into a vampire would break that promise."

"But you said you'd be with me forever" she yelled on the verge of tears.

"Relax... don't be so dramatic" I said softly "we will always be together don't worry. Eternal life doesn't define that though."

She ripped away from my gaze and ran towards the window opening it as she jumped out.

Her teenage rebellious phase is getting more and more harder to handle.

I silently cried to myself for a moment before making my way out as well jumping through the same window Yua went through until I smelled blood.
