Vampire's Bloody Rose- Ch.5

Ambrosia's POV

Yua was right next to me as I quickly looked around and held onto the back of her neck and her arm opposite to me as I used my vampire speed to take her with me. I hold her like that just so she won't get whiplash.

"The scent that I was talking about was of your own blood...Yuki" I heard someone who I'm assuming is a vampire said "you really are tempting me."

Some human girl freaked out in the background realizing he was a vampire. Yuki must have been trying to get them out of harms way before that vampire got here.

*Thump*

What. That's....

"I swear I am going to kill ALL the vampires in this world" little Zero sneered as he looked up at me who just a couple inches taller.

His hate for vampires is like none other I've ever encountered.

"Zero..." I cooed as I brushed the hair out of his face immediately calming down by my touch "I will gift you something that you will learn to use and kill all the vampires you want. It's a tough journey ahead of you, do you really want to keep killing vampires?"

"Yes" he said with unwavering eyes as I smiled proudly at him and pulled out Bloody Rose.

"This is Bloody Rose, a special gun that can kill any vampire. I now place it in your hands" I said as he stared at me like I was his hero.

Bloody Rose...

I turned to look over at Zero who held it up to the vampire who I could now see clearly. His name is Aido Hanabusa, an aristocrat vampire. I made sure that Yua also memorized every vampire in this school.

"Drinking blood whilst on school grounds is strictly prohibited. Getting drunk on the scent of blood. You've finally revealed your true nature vampire" he spat.

Still hating vampires as ever I see. Go Zero shoot the sucker.

"Zero!! Don't" Yuki yelped.

"It was just a taste—" and the sound of a shot rang through the air as I clutched my throat leaning forward- I was able to see Yuki stopped him by pointing the gun towards the sky.

Wait why do I feel like this? So thirsty.... but it's not for human blood. My throat it's so dry...

"Bloody Rose" Kaname said coming from behind me as I quickly composed myself... too fast in fact, I could feel his eyes lingering on me a bit longer as he continued but I interrupted.

"It's made to kill creatures like you" I said emotionless as Kaname smiled at me then looked to Zero and Yuki.

Aido and Akatsuki turned to face me and Yua questionably.

"This is Lady Rosia and Yua the new guardians that will keep you more in check by the way. Anyway I'll take care of these fools the chairman will need a full report" Kaname said as Yua pulled me back staring at Kaname with a straight face.

At least she isn't glaring...

"Just get them out of my sight" Zero spat as he turned away and went to stand next to me.

Since when did I have two kids.

"I see well then I'm sorry about all of this. I hope it hasn't awakened any bad memories for you, Yuki" Kaname shot her a charming smile making me pale.

The Original Kuran smiling? Since when! He rarely showed any emotions. It was rare... so he really does treasure her even though he really isn't her brother.

After they left Zero pulled Yuki's injured hand to him and bandaged it up.

Aww~ looks like someone else has a soft side for her.

"We'll stay up to keep watch. Go rest up Yuki, Zero help her" I said and Yuki looked at Zero and I confused.

Did he not tell her our history together?

"Yuki can you go on ahead I'd like to talk to Rosia real quick" Zero said as Yuki looked scared at Yua but was surprise when she didn't backfire to call us formally.

"O-ok" she said before she left.

"You haven't told her, I see" Yua said as she stared at Yuki walk off until she was out of sight and she lunged at Zero's back.

"Ahh I've missed you so much Zero" she squealed messing up his hair as he got annoyed by it, but didn't force her off.

"Yua, Zero is going to get mad" I said with a playful smile until he lashed out at her.

He grabbed her and pulled her forward sitting her down on her butt and ruffling up her hair, which is one of the things she hates the most.

"You d-didn't just.." she growled as I took a couple steps back and watched happily.

"Yua's gotten stronger Zero so be careful" I laughed as they battled it out by wrestling and Yua came out victorious, but she quickly helped him up while they both laughed.

"It's good to see you again Yua" he said with a small smile then looked at me "Rosia" he said as he walked over to me and gave me a hug.

"Why did you guys suddenly decide to attend school here" he asked "you didn't even send me any mail."

"It was a last minute decision by the hunters association" I said as he looked at me seriously.

"Is something happening" he asked as I nodded no.

"Just a check up" I said as he nodded.

"They don't just send you for a check up, but ok" he said understandingly.

Sorry, but I can't tell you. I had to pull some strings for them to allow me to come here.

"Anyway go check up on Yuki" I said as he nodded but gave me a pat on the head.

I spread word that Rido was going to make an appearance soon at Cross Academy so they would send me here. But they don't know that Rido was the one who wanted me here to secretly keep tabs on Kaname before he arrives.

"I'm glad you and Yua are here. I know you have Yua, but I'm here if you ever wanna talk" he said while looking away as I smiled.

"Thank you" I said and then he left.

"What the heck! He can't take my place! CC you can always vent to me" she said as I smiled at her and kissed her cheek shutting her up.

"Go get some rest I'll be on the look out tonight" I said as she nodded obediently.

Immediately my crow flew down to me and squawked some information to me.

Times running out. Don't settle. You're mission is..is to.. huh?

"My mission.." I asked myself aloud "...I can't start being selfish now, can I?"
