Raven's POV
As we pulled into the parking lot of the hospital I didn't wait for Harry to properly park the car. I jumped out of the car and caught up with the medics that were rushing Jonathan down a corridor while hurriedly talking to a doctor.
When they reached a door a bunch of nurses showed up and pushed a few of the medics out of the way.
One nurse saw me trying to go through the door with them, but stopped me before I could.
"I'm sorry ma'am, but you're gonna have to wait in the waiting room." She said as I watched them carry Jonathan away.
"What's gonna happen now?" I ask.
"He's gonna go into surgery. The doctor will come out and talk to you as soon as the surgery is done."
"Will I be able to see him?" The nurse gives me a sympathetic smile and nods her head.
A male nurse calls for her and she runs off down the hall. The doors close in my face and I am left hoping and praying that Jonathan will be alright.
I feel someone lightly grab my arm and pull me over to the waiting room. I don't bother acknowledging the person. Soon I am seated in one of the hospital waiting room chairs.
I can hear people talking, but I don't know if they are talking to me or someone else.
I'm still in shock. I grew up with Jonathan. He was like another brother to me when I was younger. He made sure that no one picked on me and as I got older he was always there to threatened any boy that even came close to me.
It's so weird to think that after all that he's done to me here I am. Sitting in a hospital waiting room with tears stuck to my cheeks.
I just don't understand why he would risk his own life to make sure that the Devils knew what the Wolves were doing. I could understand him warning me to be careful of where I am and who I'm around, but getting killed just to make sure his arch rival knew what they were doing didn't make sense to me.
I guess it's cause he wanted them to make sure they knew what they were doing when it came to my safety.
God I just don't know what his mom is gonna do when she finds out that he's in here.
Oh my gosh. I need to call his mom to let her know what's going on.
I clear my throat and stand up.
"Raven." Harry says from across from me.
"Where are you going?"
"I'll be right back." I whisper.
I make my way to the front desk and patiently wait for the lady to get done with whatever it is she is doing.
"Can I help you?" She asks with an attitude.
"I was just wondering if I could use your phone." The lady looks at me and squints her eyes.
"Why don't you just use your cell phone?" I close my eyes and sigh.
"If I had my cell phone do you honestly think I'd be asking to use your fucking phone?" I ask loudly.
Her eyes widen and she leans back in her chair. Before she can say anything I start talking again.
"Listen here lady. I'm having one of the worst days of my life and all I'm doing is asking if I could use your phone to make a call. A rather important call. Now if you wanna be a stubborn bitch and not let me use your phone that's perfectly fine, but next time just say I can't use the fucking phone rather than make me or someone else talk to you like some five year old child." Everyone that works with her behind the desk tried to mask their laughs and failed.
