Ace let out a small sigh, she was an Embalmer. She was forced into this sick game of cat and mouse when all she wanted to do was give a small letter to someone here, now she's stuck here as a survivor.
The same pale-grey walls bored her, the creaking of the wooden floorboards had started to get annoying.
Ace always wanted to be a mother, she was very weak and fragile and due to that, she was unable to have a child.
Her body couldn't handle it, it was too weak and slim to be able to hold a child.
Not that she was weak and wasn't strong, her body just.. couldn't handle all the contractions and pains that would penetrate through her stomach like a stab wound.
Her grey eyes glistened as she zoned-out looking at the empty chair in front of her.
"Ace?" A voice calling her name caught her off guard, "Hm?" She turned over to look and gave a small smile towards the Seer that now sat next to her.
"Oh, hey Eli." Her voice was calm but filled with an obvious sense of anxiousness.
"Relax Ace, you'll be fine. I promise."
She bit her lip, The map was sacred heart hospital, all of the holes on the second floor, if she were to fall down there she would become paralysed and unable to move.
She'd have panic attacks each time she came to play on this map, it's not like she chose the map of course.
It was selected by random.
This was the map she hated the most, fate determined her life if she was ever on the second floor.
Any hole she was near would start to make her have a panic attack and would make her worry from the feeling of dropping down and collapsing against the wooden floorboards that would give her splinters all over.
She shuddered at the thought before the sound of glass smashing echoed through the lobby.
As usual, her vision faded to a dark void before filling again with colour.
She felt dizzy for a bit before she regained her concious-ness and was able to walk fine again.
'Thank god..' She thought, She had spawned in the small shack near an exit gate, she opened her coffin in the corner that was near one of the exit gates.
She ran back to the cipher as her fingers gradually glided over the keys with suspension.
"The hunter is near me!" Vera yelled, the sound of perfume spraying was heard before Vera got hit, she went back to her perfume regaining full health.
The pain of the heartbeat rising in her chest gradually became more painful, she hid behind the pallet recording Vera's appearance.
Joseph was about to go through past the pallet until Ace stunned him, he groaned holding his head, "Sorry!" She said running around the shack, Joseph had left to go for Vera yet again and Ace went back to decode.
Ace was known as one of the most caring survivors, she'd always check up on everyone, no matter if they were a survivor or not, she'd always make sure others were healthy and were eating. And.. she'd always put her own health last, she didn't mind honestly.
She found her peer's health more important than her own.
As she continued to decode the cipher, she missed a calibration due to being hit, "Crap.." She mumbled, she removed her finger hastily and ran down into the cellar, she hid behind a wall holding her breath as her heartbeat rose. The sound of a camera clicking sounded and her heartbeat stopped completely, she let out a breath of relief before Joseph appeared right in front of her, hitting her with his sword lightly, "Sorry mon chére."
