Scene 1

A longer time ago in a galaxy far far away

Star Wars: The Old republic

Episode I

Peace has reigned over the galaxy for 8 years through the mantle of the old republic. Jedi are the peacekeepers for the little conflict there is and Sith have not been heard from for years. In the years prior to this, two rogue Jedi Revan and Malak turned to the dark side of the force and became sith lords. But their rise to power was short-lived as they were soon defeated by the Jedi and their empire dismantled. Malak retreated to unknown space and has not been heard from since, while Revan repented of his ways and returned to the light side upon which he was sent to live out the rest of his days in exile hidden in the outer rim somewhere. Meanwhile, Jedi knight Val Jissar chases the infamous crime lord Loppak Slusk to his base of operations on Citadel station over Telos IV....

The camera pans down to show Citadel station over Telos IV. Heavy skyline traffic flies by the side of a luxurious building at night. Two guards patrol the hallways of the building. The camera pans to the side wall. A lightsaber begins to cut through the wall. After it has carved a circle Val kicks out the hole he has cut and climbs into the hallway. He deactivates his lightsaber and holds his com up to his mouth.

Val: I'm in, where to now T3?

T3 can be heard beeping over the comm.

Val: Alright, alright, slow down. Tell me the first part again? Oh, my droid is bad is it? Sneaks down the hallway.

He makes a turn and sees the patrolling guards coming back, He hides in an indent with a doorway.

Guard 1: While walking. Protocol droids are just getting worse and worse, I mean I paid... They walk off and their conversation fades away.

Val continues to sneak on quickly. Loppak Slusk is sleeping at his office desk when he is awoken when the door opens.

Loppak: What! I'm, busy idiot!

Guard: Here's the Jedi you wanted.

Loppak: What are you talking about! Have you been using death sticks again?

Val: Standing behind the guard. Now sleep.

The guard falls down unconscious revealing Val standing there. Val forces the door shut. Loppak stands up and reaches for his hologram communicator.

Val: Touch that and I'll be forced to harm you.

Loppak: Moves hand away. I'm so frightened.

Val: Come on criminal scum. He ignites his lightsaber and pulls Loppak in front of him, he points his saber at him.

Loppak: I didn't think the capture of a local crime lord issues a Jedi, what are you really after?

They walk out of the room and towards Val's opening.

Val: It's not often that crime lords issue rewards for the capture of a Jedi.

Loppak: A cloaked guy offered me twice the reward money for each Jedi I brought him.

Val: Where did he say to meet him with these Jedi?

Loppak: He wouldn't tell me until I had a Jedi, which unsurprisingly I haven't. You know bounty hunters tend to really underestimate you guys...

Loppaks men and see, they run up and point their guns at Val.

Val: Shut up!

Thug 1: Over comm. Send over backup we have a Jedi here.

Val and Loppak back towards the opening. More men rush in from the other side.

Val: You move an inch and he's dead, now you're going to let me jump out this hole and leave your lovely planet.

Thug 3: What do we do boss?

Loppak: I want to live so do what he says.

Val jumps backwards onto a small platform hanging on the side of the building. The platform breaks loose and they fall off down towards the sky traffic. Loppak's men watch. Val lands on top of a bus, he looks to see Loppak falling towards the front of the bus. He pulls Loppak onto the bus just before the bus hits him. Then Val uses the force to steer it towards the side street. The Ithorian bus driver confusingly fiddles with the controls. As soon as they reach the side Loppak jumps off and runs into the crowd. Val jumps down after him. He looks up to see a Jedi wanted poster.

Val: Running. Great!

Loppak turns a corner into the entertainment section.

Loopak: Turns and roughly points at Val. Jedi!

Val ignites his lightsaber as thugs fire at him. He Pushes down one right in front of him and runs backwards deflecting their shots as he chases Loppak.

Bounty hunter 1: In Sriluurian. Lets get him!

3 Weequay bounty hunters run after Val. Val pushes through the crowd almost losing sight of Loppak, He dashes through the extremely crowded marketplace. He jumps over livestock and continues running. Laser bolts whizz past him as he runs. Loppak is looking back and trips. Val grabs him by the robe and pulls him up.

Val: Lets go slime!

Loppak: Where?

Val: Just shut up and follow me, you try to sneak away and I will literally disarm you.

They run over to a speeder taxi, and Val uses the force to throw Loppak into the passenger seat. He then forces the ignition keys from the ugnaught driver. The ugnaught driver wakes up and starts yelling at them. Val starts the engine and pulls it out as the Weequays approach him, they blast the side of the sleeper but it speeds off. The Weequays rush off to their own speeders. Val speeds headlong into traffic barely dodging speeders ahead of him.

Val: Jedi weren't meant for flying.

Loppak: I'm gonna be sick.

They fly into a tunnel and zoom off. The scene cuts to them approaching a landing platform where the Jedi ship is. They set the taxi down in front of the ship, just as Val and Loppak were climbing out Loppak's men and other bounty hunters rushed onto the platform and opened fire.

Val: Over comm. T3 start the ship, now! He deflects bolts as the boarding plank is lowered.

The taxi explodes, knocking Loppak over but Val picks him up and rushes into the ship. The ship lifts off and Val runs to the gun below deck, he fires at the mob sending them flying off the platform. The ship flies off as the mob scatters. It soars over the Citadel station skyline and into space. The camera cuts to Val and T3 in the cockpit.

T3: droid noises

Val: Yes, I put that lowlife in a holding cell, you don't think I would just let him run around a republic ship.

T3: Droid noises.

Val: Yes, yes, I know.

The communicator beeps, Val activates the hologram.

Bastila: Over hologram. Val, did you get Loppak?

Val: Yes master, shall I return to the Jedi temple?

Bastila: No, meet me..at the Peragus mining facility I believe that is near your current system.

Val: Is something wrong master?

Bastila: I sense...A dark presence.

Val: Shouldn't you tell this to Grandmaster Cox

Bastila: I would, but my senses tell me not to return to Coruscant, I fear darkness is headed that way. Anyway I hope to see you at Peragus, may the force be with you. Transmission ends.

T3: Droid beeps.

Val: I also have a bad feeling about this.
