Juliet wasn't like other girls at Hogwarts. She was bold, explosive, and stylish. She always looked for ways to make her robes a little more fashionable, since "she looked like a nun."
The four years she had already spent at Hogwarts had led to making various friends. Even though she was in Slytherin, she still hung out with Harry and the other Gryffindors. Her cousin Draco didn't like her to hang out with Potter and the gang, but she always came back to them.
Perhaps it was the better treatment she received from the Gryffindors, or the way they weren't stuck up pricks, or perhaps it was just the golden haired goddess that was Hermione Granger.
Since arriving at Hogwarts in first year, Juliet had always fancied Hermione, but didn't actually get to speak to her until third year when they rescued Sirius Black, Harry's godfather, together. Everyone, even her cousin Draco was convinced she was in love with Potter, because she regularly hung out with him, but they were wrong. The only reason she spent time with Harry was because of Hermione. Juliet loved her beautiful personality and delicate body. The way she laughed and the way she tilted her head when she was concentrating on a book. But Hermione would never love her back, she was sure.
For years everyone knew that Hermione liked Ron Weasley.
"Ew" She thought as Weasley slipped into her mind. She had always preferred his brothers Fred and George to Ron himself. She couldn't understand how Hermione could even like that arrogant man. Sometimes Juliet cried herself to sleep just thinking about Hermione.
One night in the common room, Juliet was studying for a potions exam, which she had left for the last minute, as always. She very stressed. Nothing could get worse with her night, or so she thought. Pansy Parkinson, the mythical Slytherin bitch, took it upon herself to ruin her night a bit more.
"Hey Juliet. I heard a rumor that you were looking to get into Potter's pants. Perhaps even slip him a Weasley love potion."
When Juliet ignored her and soon enough she was standing in front of Juliet. "Who told you you could ignore me, you filthy Half-Blood." People in the common room laughed.
Juliet stood up to confront Pansy. "What did you say to me?"
"I said. You-should-be-careful-who-you-talk-back-to-you-dirty-blood-whore." She pushed Juliet to the floor.
Juliet took her wand out and held it to Pansy's neck. "Try that again, Pansy. I dare you."
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?" Snape, her potions professor walked through the common room door.
"Juliet attacked me. She threatened me, professor."
"Wait, I didn't start thi..." She said before her interrupted her.
"No need to explain yourself, Miss Rose. You shall both receive detention." Juliet grinned as she looked at Pansy.
"Five points from Slytherin." Snape stormed out. Everyone in the common room groaned.

Detention dayJuliet walked to Snape's classroom on the other side of the dungeons. She found Pansy already there and Snape sitting in his desk. She sat as far away from Pansy as possible.
"Today, ladies, you will be dusting my classroom for me. The quicker you start, the earlier you will be able to leave."
Juliet reluctantly stood up. She didn't want to be in a room with Pansy for too long. For an hour, she dusted old vials with weird liquids inside of them. One of them had a couple of goat eyes.
A person knocked on the door. "Professor, the Headmaster has requested to see you."
Snape stood up swiftly. "I trust you ladies will be able to spend a little time in each other's company without going at each other's throats." He said in his iconic monotone voice. He left.
Juliet notice Pansy wasn't doing anything to help her. "Could you even bother to help, Pansy. We might actually leave early if you help me."
"This is peasants work. I should have brought my house elf." She slid in her chair.
"Please."
Pansy change her face and stood up. "Fine, I'll help you, Rose."
It seemed hours before Snape came back and by now they had cleaned his whole classroom. He inspected each corner until he couldn't find a single speck of dust. "Very well. You may leave."
Pansy left the classroom quickly and a few minutes later, so did Juliet. As she walked climbed the stairs to get to the Great Hall, she found something unexpected. Pansy had waited for her at the top.
"You took your time didn't you?"
"What do you want now, Pansy?"
"Isn't it obvious, Juliet. For months I have been telling you, but you never listen to me."
"You mean you like me?"
"I do." She smiled.
"You can't like me. You're always fighting me and calling me a Mudblood."
"I just wanted to get your attention. Please forgive me." Juliet started walking away.
"Juliet, stop." She grabbed her by the waist and pulled her towards herself. "You can't leave, I want you." She looked deeply into Juliet's eyes. With her heart racing, Pansy kissed Juliet strongly. Juliet's beautifully full lips met hers with reluctance.
Juliet thought about Hermione. About how much she loved her, but she realized what was in front of her. Begging her to love her; and who was she to deny Pansy her love. She kissed her back.
Without breaking their kiss, they dropped their books on the floor. Pansy's hand slipped up Juliet's thigh and grabbed her ass. She pulled her closer to her. They kissed and kissed for a long time, until Juliet said: "Stop."
"What is it sweetheart. Did I hurt you?"
"We can't be doing this here, we might get caught."
"Alright then, love. We'll meet in the Astronomy Tower a tonight at nine."
"Can't wait." She laughed awkwardly.
They walked to dinner together.
