-So this year we are going on a trip to Ontario, Canada.- says our teacher as loud as she can.
-It's gonna be fun.- smiles Jenn.
-Yeah only if mom is in the mood today.- I say and she starts laughing.
-So who wants to come?- asks mrs. Thomas.
There is a wood of hands.
-I have to tell you that Lyneham High is also comming.
-OH my gosh, I'm gonna see Michael!- Jenn says happily.
I turn around and look at her.
-You still have a huge crush on him, don't you?
-Don't judge me, he's perfect.
-Jesus, help me.
She rolls her eyes and turns her attention back to the teacher.
After the classes I go back home with the hope that mom is there. I unlock the door and leave my bag on the floor.
-I'm home! - I shout.
I go to the living room, expecting to see my mother there, but it's empty. I sigh and head to my room. Opening the door, I step in and see my sister digging trough my things.
-Uhm, Mel, what the heck are you doing in my room with three bras in your hands?
-I uh, I need bras.
-And can you tell me why you need MY bras?
-'Cuz you have big boobs, I have small boobs. I'm gonna put some socks in, and yeah.- she makes an attempt to give me an innocent smile but it turns out awkward.
-Are you fucking serious?
Soft knock interrupts our "conversation".
-Oh, hello Charlie.- says mom with a smile.
-Hi mom.
-What are you girls talking about? - she asks.
-Boobs. - say I and Mel in sync and then we start laughing.
-Boobs? Oh girls you're so funny .... wait you're serious.
-Yeah. Do you wanna join us? - asks Mel and smirk at me.
-I think you can talk with your father about that- she says chuckling.
-We'll talk with him for other things. - I say and start laughing
-Charlotte Lee Adams watch your language. And Melanie out of this room... Now!
-What the heck mom, I was joking.- my sister defends herself, before leaving my room with a sight.
-I really don't give a f... Never mind. What happened in school today? Something
interesting ?-First what? Second, nothing but we have a trip to Ontario, Canada and yeah. Can I..? - I say worried
-What? To go? Yes, of course you can.
-Mom, are you sure you aren't sick or accidentally under the influence of alcohol?
-Say it again and For your birthday I'm going to give you a free trip to your grandmother. - she says with a smile on her face.
-Oh then, never mind. But really, are you serious?-I ask slowly.
-For the trip? Yes, I'm serious.- she says.
-Oh thank you God!I love you so much.- I exclaim, hugging mom.
