The Moment I Knew

Taylor's POV:

Today's Friday, which means the gang and myself are going to Daniel's uncles beach house. We are all going to meet at Daniel's at 5 tonight, so we can drive to the property. I'm really excited to just get away and hang with my friends for the weekend.

Throughout the past week Will has started sitting with the gang, he's actually a really nice kid. Zach and I have hung out a lot after school, he's seemed a little clingier this week and I have no clue why. The best news ever! Corbyn and Cass finally told the group that they're dating again. The group was over the moon when they found out. 

Right now I'm in my last class for the week, which is PE. We're just in pairs throwing a basketball back and fourth. I'm paired up with Will. Throughout this class we've had some interesting conversations, from sports to our dream holiday destination.

"So Taylor, what are you doing tomorrow afternoon?" he asks me. "I'm actually going away with the group this weekend, why do you ask?" I reply to his question. "Oh, I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out," he answers sheepishly. "Maybe some other time?" I suggest, he grinned and nodded at that suggestion.

Just as I was about to continue our conversation the bell rang, signaling the end of the day. We both made our way over to our bags and started to leave the gym. "Do you need a lift home Taylor?" he asks me. "No thanks, Zach is giving me a lift home. Thanks for offering though," I smile back.

On the way to the parking lot we just made small talk, to be honest Will is a very interesting person. 

"Taylor, over here!" Zach yells from the far side of the parking lot. "I'll see ya later Will," I say as I wave to Will. "Have a good weekend Taylor," he yells back.

"What did he want," Zach asks is a somewhat blunt tone. "Woah, what's got your knickers in a knot," I laugh, earning a glare from Zach. "What?" I question. "Don't worry about it," he shakes his head, "you excited for this weekend?" he changes the subject. "Yes! I'm so exited" I exclaim, making him laugh.

"Mum will pick you up in about an hour, then she'll drive us to Daniel's place," Zach informs me as we pull into his driveway. "Okay, sounds good. I'll see you soon Zach," I reply as I get out of his car. "See you soon Miller," Zach confirms whilst getting out of the car.

I walk through my front door to be greeted by my older brother, Jake. Jake has always been a good older brother, he never intrudes on my mates and I, he's always respectful of my space, he's pretty much the dream brother. Well I mean he is until it comes to guys, he's always bugging me about Zach. 

"So how was Zach today?" he asks with a smirk on his face. "Yeah, he's good," I reply. "Excited to go away with him the weekend?" that smirk is just so annoying! "It's not just Zach I'm going away with Jake! The whole group is going," I explain with a slightly annoyed tone. 

I walk into the kitchen and grab a snack, Jake follows of course. "I see he gave you a lift home again," this guy. "Jake how many times do I need to tell you that we are just best mates!" I exclaim. "Woah ok, you know I'm just pushing your buttons Tay," he says  through a laugh. "It's not funny!" I yell as I walk upstairs to my room.
