"Y/N, You're expelled"

You stood in front of your house. You didn't know how to tell your father. He worked day and night just to feed you and you were expelled from yet another school.

'It wasn't my fault he was being annoying'

You thought to yourself as you finally walked into your house.

"I'm home"

You weren't really expecting a reply as your dad was at work. Or so you thought

"Your school emailed me today saying you were expelled"

A familiar voice called out. You walked over to see your dad making food.

"I'm sorry"

Even though you acted tough, you had a soft spot for your dad. You didn't like being this way

"Sorry isn't good enough. This is your last chance or else.  .-"

He cut himself off

"Or else what?"

You asked. It was silent as he didn't answer. All you could hear was the sizzling of the soup he has been making.

"There's a school that I think you won't be expelled from"

"Which is?"

"Hyakkaou Private Academy"

"I see. . . So I'm transferring?"

"Yes."

Your dad pulled out some bowls and set them on the table. He placed the soup in the middle of the table

"I have to go back to work. Eat this while I'm gone

"When will you be back?"

You heard the door shut. He left without answering your question. You sighed as you started to eat some soup. Tears started to fall down your face.

'All he ever does is work'

You thought to yourself as you brought your bowl to the sink and rinsed it out. You started to head to your room. You flopped down on your bed before taking out your phone

•Hyakkaou Private Academy•

You searched it up. You were pretty disappointed until you saw that the school revolves around gambling. This was very interesting

"Gambling? Why the hell would I want to gamble"

You were mad for a moment till a thought popped into your head. You could gamble and start to win Yen. Then Dad wouldn't have to work so hard. You made up your mind. You weren't going to get expelled from this school. You started to drift off to sleep.

You heard your alarm clock and blinked a few times. You immediately hopped into the shower. As soon as you got out you realized- You don't have a uniform. You heard a knock on your door. Your dad walked in with a uniform in his hand. Your uniform. He handed it to you as you were wrapped around in your towel

"Thank you"

"No problem. I forgot to give it to you yesterday. I won't be home tonight"

"Ah. . . . I see. . . . Alright then"

You acted fine but it hurt you. You immediately put on your uniform and started to walk to school. The uniform was actually pretty cool. You didn't usually need to wear one at your old schools. You finally arrived. It was huge. You looked at the schedule you had and started to head to your classroom. You walked in and we're actually on time.

"Everyone take your seats"

You heard the teacher say

"We have a new transfer student. Y/N, please introduce yourself"

You gulped

"Hello. I am Y/N L/N. It's a pleasure to meet you all"

You were already getting stares. You let out a big sigh as the teacher pointed you to your seat. It was next to a black haired girl. You simply smiled at her and sat down. That was until she started to talk to you

"Hi! I'm Yumeko! It's a pleasure to meet you!"

You were startled at this. Why is she talking to you

"Hello Yumeko. I'm sure you already know my name."

"I do! You did introduce yourself already after all!"

She giggled. You simply smiled. You felt really awkward

"Are you a good gambler Y/N? Would you like to gamble with me?"

This is what you were scared of. Immediately being challenged to a gamble. You DID gamble a lot when you were 10 with bubble gum. But you've never gambled for money.

"Uh. . . I'm good. Thank you"

She looked disappointed

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure. Positive. 100%"

You felt like she was burning holes in your head by how much she stared at you through class. You heard the bell ring

'Oh thank god. I thought she'd talk forever'

You thought to yourself as you started to get up. Then a blonde haired girl approached you. You were worried for what would happen next

"Hello. I'm Mary Saotome. Would you be interested in a gamble? Nothing serious, its a simple game of rock paper scissors. Except our classmates here will put a card with a drawn on rock paper or scissors in a box. Then we get three cards. Sound reasonable?"

You had no idea what she was saying right now.

"Uhm . . . Yes?"

Oh dear. You meant no yet said yes anyways

"Great"

You sat down at a table where Mary sat across from you. You were handed your cards. A rock, rock, and paper. It wasn't a bad hand truly. The game went on for about five minutes till something felt off

"You're cheating"

You could tell she was a little shocked. But she played it off

"What do you mean? How could I cheat?"

"It's obvious. They all have their eyes on one person. Why one person you ask? Obviously because that person is telling them what to put in the box. Otherwise they would be thinking more"

You didn't actually know they were cheating. You were just guessing. That was until Mary was obviously angered. You were betting about Two million yen right now. It could help your dad out a lot. You wouldn't be able to pay it back so you used every trick you had. You couldn't believe how much yen you ended up betting. In the end you won though. You could just tell what she was going to throw. You acted like you didn't care but inside you were bursting with joy. Yumeko approached you after the match

"Why'd you gamble with her but not me?"

She was definitely a little upset. But not enough to notice

"Because I didn't mean to say yes to her gamble anyways"

You walked off to the bathroom before you heard moaning and what sounded like a very odd yell. Suddenly you didnt have to use the restroom anymore.
