four. the teasing

   THE SMELL OF OLD PARCHMENT FILLED THE library with a few whispers here and there. As the two slytherins Lavinia and Penny sat at the table next to the windows to see what was happening since they couldn't do very much during their free hour the options are great hall with no food, library with books, outside of the castle with quidditch balls on the loose half of the time since the teams were usually practicing.

   " Vinia there you are I was looking for yo- hi I'm Fiona Bucket," Fiona whispered before offering her hand to the blonde who gladly shook it. " Penny Haywood." She smiled before Fiona let out a squel before being shush by a book.

   " Wow and sorry," the three whispered in unison. " Wait why am I- shush!"

   Fiona now excited asked. " You're family makes wands and brooms right?" Penny nodded. " Yes I try help out time to time."

   Lavinia was completely zoned out as she was really not in the mood to listen to them combined. " What house are you in?" Fiona asked before seeing her tie. " Slytherin with Vinia." Penny answered.

   " I'm hungry,"

   " Then go to the grand hall since there's food there," Lavinia said sarcastically, she knew the hufflepuff dorm rooms were next to the kitchen. " Oh Lavi I know you'd love to know how to get into the kitchens with the house elves still in there." Now that got her attention of course if you wanted to help clean the kitchen during detention then go right ahead but having to cause trouble just to get into a room? That's kinda over doing it.

   Lavinia rolled her eyes knowing she'll get the information anytime she wants, she then returning her attention back to her book she was reading while the other two continued to talk to eachother knowing they won't get her attention back until something catches it. The book was about transfiguration Lavinia needed to study for it as she couldn't get one spell right.

   " Did you hear there's a first year on the gryffindor team?" That caught Lavinia's attention first years aren't allowed to play in quidditch not until second year atleast. " Yeah if i'm not wrong it was in flight class with miss hooch he got in since Potter helped Longbottom out."

   " Lavi aren't you close to Malfoy why did he mess with Longbottom and Potter?" and que Lavinia's red cheeks that were noticeable Fiona knew which one of the boys while Penny had one boy in mind. " I'm guessing you know its Potter then well you did pass notes with him in class."

   Redder face for Lavinia, holding in a laugh for Fiona and more teasing from Penny. " She's just excited to see him play in the game," the blonde teasingly said knowing the outcome of it. " Lavinia how could you your brother would be very disappointed in you."

   " Going to his games to see another bo- That's enough you two," Lavinia slammed her book shut before standing up. " I never said I was going to the game plus we're gonna be late for charms class at this rate if you two continue to talk."

   With that the brunette left the slytherin and hufflepuff together who followed her shortly after since she was right if the girls had continued to talk they were gonna be late.

   LAVINIA SAT IN BETWEEN PENNY AND FIONA which although behind of Malfoy it was a great view of the gryffindor students its a win and lose situation, one they got to see the gryffindors but then they had to smell Draco's horrible cologne that it should've never been made by anyone not muggles, wizards, goblins and etcetera.

   The girl turned her head to Fiona who was looking at same red haired boy from the staircase. " Looking at Weasley again?" Lavinia teasingly asked in a whisper wiggling her eyebrows. " N-no how about you looking at Potter?" Fiona tried to shift the attention on her.

   " I'm staring at you dimwit,"

   She stuck her tounge out before professor Flitwick continued his lesson. " Now everyone like we've been learning swish and flick." the students copied his actions with their wands. " Now accompany it by saying Wingardium Leviosa."

   The whole class started to try doing the spell which was not as easy as they thought it was slightly harder as some were just struggling to even say it. " This class is boring," Penny whispered to Lavinia who was actually trying to do the spell. " Well I'm trying to actually study since we'll be learning this until we graduate and maybe even after." Lavinia smiled at the blonde who rolled her eyes playfully then turned her attention back to the feather.

   Lavinia's eyes stopped by Hermione Granger a muggleborn witch, who knows a lot about the school and it's students which freaked people out but she was special in the eyes of Lavinia and Draco. Her eyes had followed her until the feather started floating. " Look here students Ms. Granger's done it."

   Everyone amazed by the floating feather that they didn't hear Draco mutter something about 'Mrs Malfoy one day' which if they had heard would probably tease him for it but the people around him did, they weren't afraid of him as only a selected few can make fun of him for it but will also earn the wrath of him someday.

   The scene was immediately cut off by an explosion coming from gryffindor everyone's attention going to Potter and Seamus. " I think we'll need more feathers over here." Harry said still shock at what happened.

   Laughter came from across them. " Settle down class," Professor Flitwick tried to make them to quiet down it did work. " Continue trying students feathers coming your way."

   After awhile most of them had gotten it to work with some sneezes as the feather kept hitting their noses which was really funny to watch.

   THE THREE GIRLS WALKED OUT OF THE CLASS with everyone tired but excited as tonight was halloween night which was going to be a fun ride for most of them. Fiona headed to the hufflepuff dorms while Lavinia and Penny went to the slytherin dorms which was practically the coldest area of the school no matter what time of the year it was.

   " It was so tiring today," Penny flopped onto her bed the other girls just giggled at her as it wasn't that much of a day they'll be doing it until they leave hogwarts. " Sleep then none of us are stopping you."

   " You're right goodnight wake me up for dinner!"

   The blonde was soon catching her sleep while the others were changing out of their uniforms and studying.
