*Peter's POV*

I rolled over on my bed groaning in pain, my head felt like a herd of elephants were trampling over it. I placed my feet down on the cold stone floor of the dormitory. Today was the last day of school and I couldn't wait to go back home. The school was an old run down building in the middle of London. It was an all boys school so only Edmund and I went here. Edmund was two years younger than me so he was in none of my classes but I saw and spoke to him occasionally at any of the meals. The girls went to an all girl boarding school near ours. We only ever saw them once every month on a Saturday where we would all have a nice lunch in a cafe somewhere and catch up. This had not happened in a while due to the fact that every spare moment I had was spent practicing for the championship of the London Schools Cricket Cup. Our school had never made it this far before, it was a massive day for the school. All the schools were coming down to watch, the school had its own cricket field so it was easy for us. Lucy and Susan would be watching as their school was also coming down to watch.

The floor was icy and the whispering wind danced around my blue feet as I pull my self up off the bed. I pull on my blue school dressing gown that all the boys have and trudge slowly to the door of my dormitory out into the freezing empty corridor and continue to trudge to the bathroom just down it. When I arrive, I strip off and have a quick shower, I wash my hair, clamber out and wrap my self into a red school towel with the schools symbol on. I brush my teeth and pull my shirt, trousers and tie on for school. I sigh just 24 hours and I will be free from school for the summer. I can see my sisters and my mother. Father is due to arrive home from America in a week or so, and I can't wait to see him. I look at my reflection smiling approvingly, I comb my hair then ruffle it up. I hate to neat hair, it makes me look princely and I as I am no longer a King there is no point.

I walk out and by this time the corridor is thriving with school boys. Excited chatter filled the air of their holiday plans. I squeeze back to my dorm and make my bed for the room expeditions. I poke my roommate, Nathan, to get him up. He is always late. He groans and hits my hand away. I laugh and slam the door on my way done to breakfast. There is a banquet of food laid out in every direction. That is a plus of going to boarding school, the food is always delicious and there is plenty of it to eat. I picked boiled eggs, sausages and some bacon. It was so good. I followed this with a cup of tea and some orange juice. I sighed a contented sigh. This was going to be a good day, now my headache had gone, I could feel it!

I got up off the bench at the table I was sitting on and turned to come face to face with, Benjamin. The school douce head. I hated him! He brushed past me, snickering as he went, I swear one day I will knock him flat. He thinks he is better than us all as his parents are richer! If only he knew I was a King. He would be bowing down to me! I sighed, if only I could return to Narnia! How my heart leapt at the thought of Narnia! But is had been a year and we had all grown tremendously in that time, it was very unlikely we would ever see Narnia again! If only though, just one more glance at the rolling green, endless hills, to hear the sweet melody of the fawns tune. How I wish I was back!

I tiptoed up the oak wooden stairs that creaked as if it was going to give way underneath you. I headed back to my dormitory to collect my cricket uniform. The door opened and a very sleepy, disheveled looking Nathan who had obviously fallen back to sleep and was now late for breakfast was standing in the door way. His tie was draped loosely on his neck, his white shirt hung loosely, it should have been tucked in to his trousers, he was also carrying a shoe in one hand with the other on his right foot. He gave me a quick smile but was sprinting down the corridor before I could say anything. I smiled it would be fun to watch him being told off by Professor Greenwood but I didn't have time for that. If I didn't get a move on I would be late for the cricket game. I pulled out all my cricket gear from under my bed, checked it was all there and hurried back down the stair and out the large oak doors towards the cricket field.
