10. Don't Let Forth Babysit

Yo let his head fall back with a soft groan.

"What's wrong, baby?"

Yo opened his eyes and looked at Pha, cutely pouting. "Good just texted. He and Montree can't watch Love tonight. Montree got the flu."

Pha made a sympathetic sound. "I hope she feels better soon."

"Me, too. But what are we going to do about tonight?? We haven't had a real date night in ages."

"We could take Love with us."

"Date night means you and me," Yo smiled in amusement. He thought it was adorably sweet how attached Pha was to their daughter. Pha wanted to take her with them everywhere. "Hey, maybe Forth and Beam can watch her?"

"Beam is doing something with his relatives tonight. But I can ask Forth," Pha mused. He took out his phone to text the third year Engineering student. His phone rang in response, and Pha put it on speaker.

"Hey, yeah, I'm free. Why? What do you guys need?"

Yo kissed the top of Love's head, breathing in her baby smell of milk and powder.

"Yo and I were going on a date, but N'Good and N'Montree had to cancel because of the flu. Do you think you can manage watching Love for a few hours?"

Forth was silent for a few moments. "Hours? Like three?"

Pha looked at Yo who shrugged at him. "Yeah, approximately."

"Sure. I'd love to have some uncle-niece quality time," Forth said happily. "Bring her on over to the dorm. Beam's off having dinner with a couple of his cousins. They got into town last night, and he's been visiting with them all day."

"Thank you, Forth!" Yo said loud enough for Forth to hear.

Forth chuckled. "Not a problem, little bro. See you both in a few."

"See you. And thanks again, Forth," Pha said. He hung up the phone.

Yo pulled the diaper bag over, checking to make sure they had everything Love would need packed. "P'Pha, can you grab the bottles from the fridge?"

"Of course, baby." Pha kissed Yo's cheek and Love's head as he walked past to the kitchen. "Anything else?"

"Um...maybe her blanket, too. She'll probably fall asleep before we get back."

"She's such a sleepy little baby," Pha glanced back into the living room as he took the bottles of breast milk out of the fridge.

Yo made a funny face, earning a smile from Love. "Yeah she is. And she made her mommy sleepy while I was carrying her, too."

Pha laughed. "That should've been our first clue."

"Ha, ha," Yo replied dryly.

Forth's soft expression as he cradled Love in his arms was so sweet to Yo. "She's so beautiful, Yo."
