Previously: Elis and Aadya arrived at Maya's apartment. Maya has just revealed that there is only two rooms available so they will have to share.
"I think Aadya should get the choice of which room she wants to sleep in!" Elis said grabbing Aadya's arm. "I don't think she should sleep with someone she just met!" Maya held Aadya's other arm. "WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD JUS-"
BOOM!
There was a giant flash of lightning and the power went out. The three stood there in the dark.
A match was striked and a candle was lit. Jerry was standing there. When he held the light he looked like he was about to tell a ghost story.
"What the fu- How did you get here??" Elis stepped back.
Jerry completely ignored him and turned to Maya "Miss Maya the storm is going to last all night. We will be out of power until tomorrow. Shall I prepare the bedrooms?" "Uh yeah, yeah, um go do that please."
Jerry set the candle down on the table and head upstairs. "I'm guessing you both don't have any bags or clothes so we will have to go buy some.... but for now Aadya can borrow mine."
"What about me?"
Maya chuckled a bit "Suffer." Aadya felt sweat dripping down her face as Maya put her arm around her after saying that.
Jerry soon came back down and announced the rooms were ready. Maya and Aadya headed up the stairs while Jerry led Elis down a hallway.
I need to win this deal fast! I need that cash to pay off my rent!
Elis gritted his teeth and followed closely behind Jerry.
Maya swyng open the door to her room. Her room was white with all the drawings and paintings taped to it. Maya kicked some shirts under her bed. "Well? You like it?" Maya asked but Aadya didn't hear her she looked at the colors on the paintings in astonishment.
Aadya noticed that in all the pictures there was a small rose. "What are those roses for?" Maya jumped "Oh those pffft nothingggg. Anyways wanna play a couple of games?" Maya quickly ran off to grab some boxes. Aadya stood in place gazing at the rose before leaving to follow Maya.
Meanwhile with Jerry and Elis....
"Are you kidding me!" Elis threw down his cards, "How do you keep winning!" Jerry picked up the scattered cards "The game is called 'The Game for Butlers'"
Elis let out a huge sigh and flopped on his back making even more cards fly in the air. Jerry rolled his eyes and gently set the lid back on the game.
"Do you want to play another game, I think you'll win this one. It's called 'how to be the most stuck-up bastard'!" Elis looked at Jerry out of the corner of his eye "What did you just say?"
Elis decided to sleep on the couch that night
