She bumped into him trying to run away from the harsh words of his younger brother, she met his eyes and quickly wiped away her tears, "I'm sorry Fred I didn't see you." The young bookworm said.
"Granger, are you alright?" the red haired prankster asked. "I'm fine. Just going for a walk." she looked away not able to hold his gaze any longer. Having just lied to her only friend. "If you need to talk.. I'm here Granger. George too."
She nodded wanting nothing more than to get away, "I'll see you later Fred." she rushed off to the girls lavatory, leaving the young Gryffindor confused, his eyes shining like pretty lights. He let her go and went on his way to find his twin. She would tell him if she needed help.
