Anna's P.O.V
The coffee machine makes an awful grinding noise before pouring my drink, causing me to slightly cringe. I sit down on the couch, place my hot drink on the coffee table, and continue to watch my favorite movie, 10 Things I Hate About You. Since the night at the club, i've just chosen to forget about it. People like Lucy dont deserve my time or my tears. Ryan called about about 15 times telling me that he was so sorry, that I should just ignore her, and that he didnt know that would happen. It took me forever of reassuring him that i was fine and he was forgiven, that he finally calmed down and let it go.
I giggle to myself, watching Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles on the tv screen. Man, i really love this movie. I hear a knock on my door and i quickly get up to answer it. Michael stands outside my door, a Metallica muscle shirt on his body, exposing his tattoos. "Yes?" i ask reluctantly, knowing he's either gonna say something super perverted or rude. "Hey, I uh..I just wanted to uh..." He says nervously. Michael? Nervous? i never thought i'd see the day. "You okay?" I ask, a slight laugh falling from my mouth, he actually looks kind of adorable. "I just wanted to see if you were alright.. You were upset the other night, and i wanted to check on you." He finally spits out, with an embarrassed look on his face. "Oh," i say. Im suprised: Michael cares now? "Well, im fine, it was just a little thing with some friends. But thank you for asking." I say politely, seeing as Michael is actaully being respectable at the moment. "No problem." He smiles. He's got a really nice smile actually.
We just stand at my door for an awkward minute. "Would you like to come in?" i ask him and he looks suprised. "If you're busy or something, i get it, its fine i can-" im cut off. "No, its okay. i'd like to come in" he tells me and enters my apartment. "Do you want anything to drink or..?" i ask him. "No its fine." He says looking around the apartment. I make myself a tea and notice Michael isn't in the livingrom anymore. "Michael?" i call. "I didn't know you played guitar." I hear him say from my room. i walk in and Michael picks up my brown acoustic. "Yep, since i was 9." i smile proudly. He starts strummimg o it playfully and it sounds really good. "You play?" i ask. "Yeah, for a while now." He states with a smile.
We eventually head back to livingroom and we both sit down and watch the movie. We're about 20 minutes into it when Michael breaks the silence. "I'm a bit hungry. Are you?" he asks. "I could eat." i shrug. "you wanna order Chinese?" he asks and i agree. About thirty minutes later, we're eating our food and the movie has just ended. "God, That was terrible." He groans. "Excuse me? That is a great movie." I defend my favorite film. "Its just a sappy teen movie from the 90s that has a predictable plot." he explains. "It's an inconventional love story with fantastic characters and a funny plot." I quickly fire bcak and he just shakes his head and laughs. "Alright, don't get your panties in a twist, princess." He teases me and i playfully glare. "It's Anna!" I dramatically sigh, and he laughs again. It's quiet for a little more until he speaks up again. "Okay, pick up your fortune cookie." He says and i giggle a little as i do so. "What does your fortune say?" he asks. "It says 'Creativity rules the world'" i read dramatically read it. "Yours?" i ask. He picks up the cookie and cracks it open. "Mine says, 'You've been blessed with a huge dick.'" and I slap him on the chest, both of us laughing. "What are you, twelve?" i ask and he nods, still giggling like a child..it's pretty adorable. "Oh, Shit," he says and gets up, collecting his jacket."I better go."
"Okay." i tell him, a little disappointed. "I had a good time tonight." He says. "Me too," i smile back at him. "you're not so bad." i say and he laughs. "Neither are you, Princess." he teases. "It's Anna!" i yell and he laughs. "Whatever!" he laughs and leaves. Michael isn't too bad.
