My Little Flame Dabi X daughter Reader

" i'm your daughter." Those three big words shocked Dabi to the core. Who is this girl? Why is she claiming to be my daughter....that's impossible right?.... There's no way....

Dabi's mind was desperately trying to piece together how this was possible. But one look at the girl and he knew that what she was saying was true. The way her y/e/c pieced into his soul without even trying to. The way that she just waltzed into here like she owned the place. Suddenly while Dabi was still thinking about the obstacle before him.

A blue ball of flame flew by his shoulder barely missing him.

She was glaring at him now with another blue ball of flames ready to throw at him.

"I hope that what I've said hasn't hurt you too much." she snares as she opens up a plastic bag that he had not noticed that she had until this moment. She pulls out a bundle of well-beaten up pictures from being held by someone far too long.

She unbundles it as she walks up to dabi and slams one picture against his chest.

Dabi grabs it before it falls to the floor. For the first time in a long time his eyes softened and a sincere and happy like smile appeared on his face.

"y/m/n..." he sighs out in happy content.

He attempts to blink back long since bottled tears. " she was so beautiful and kind.... I never deserved someone like her..." he manages to say.

Dabi suddenly snaps out of his happy trace as he shakes his head and forces the picture of his highschool sweetheart back into his daughter's hands.

" you need to leave now and never come back here.....I am glad to have gotten the chance to meet you... but I'm not a good guy and hanging around me will only get you hurt or worse....let me do one good thing as your father and save you from the wrong that I have committed.

Dabi says as he places a soft and gentle kiss onto her temple.

"You are very beautiful princess... just like your mother... Dabi barely manages to say without sobbing as he turns to walk away.

A hand grabs onto his wrist and the grip tightens. "I've been waiting a long time for you father." dabi looks back and tries to loosen her grip so he could leave. Then he notices the tears flowing down her face.

"At least take my phone number.... Mother's not well... I need you... please daddy do one thing for me....be there for me...

How could dabi deny this. All he had to do was take her number. It's not like anything is going to happen and it will give her a peace of mind.

That was the night that dabi would never forget but he wishes that he had taken to heart what she had said. If only he had then perhaps he wouldn't be seeing his little princess in a hospital bed with a broken leg and bruises covering half of her body.

Unconscious and unaware that he was there in the room with her. Dabi sat down in the chair next to her bed. Placing his hand onto her unhurt wrist. Rubbing his thumb against it softly. " I am here princess and I won't allow them to harm you again. Forgive for not hearing your cries for help....it's just not my style anymore... to help..." Dabi chokes out.

"Daddy... a sob comes out from her. "Daddy is that you? Everything hurts. Please....

Dabi grabs a hold of her hand, squeezing it tightly and places a gentle kiss against it."Forgive me princess but I cannot interfere with your life...I shouldn't be here." dabi says as he lets go and goes to the door ready to leave.

One part of him silently prays that she wouldn't remember him being there and the other part of him wishes she would.

"Good bye for now my little flame. Be brave and strong. I love you. Dabi mumbles out as he takes one last look at his baby girl. Goodbye y/n he whispered once more. As dabi walked away his now once black heart full of hate and pain was breaking apart with each step.

"It is the only way to ensure she is not like me he insures himself as he leaves." Just like that dabi was pledging to his deepest part of himself that he would be a hero to his daughter and the war of love and destiny began.
