Chapter 2: An Imposter?!?!

Y/N's Pov

Things should never ever end up like this. This is an exploration space trip. Nobody should have to worry about getting killed. But who's half body did me, Lime, White and Cyan find in the hallway dead bleeding on the floor? Blue. I just couldn't believe that someone just got murdered in space. All four of us went to Red to report what happened. He was just as shocked as we were. So, he called everyone  over to the cafeteria to talk about  the discuss the situation while he talked to Lime about something in the meantime. 

So far, me, White, Orange and Cyan are waiting for the others to arrive. We all sit there in uncomfortable silence. It didn't take long for it to be broke when Green(the Astrojerk) came in the room. " Hello you beautiful goddesses", He announce himself. All of us just silently groan in sync. He come over closer to me," I bet you're the one who's responsible to call the meeting cause you miss me. Admit it. You miss this handsome fellow in front of you." Orange look up at him in disgust," Why would Pink do that when her, Lime, White and Cyan found someone dead in the hallway?" He looked at us in shock," Uh, you're kidding right Pink?" All of us shook our head at him. He start to shake a little," Please tell me this is just some sort of joke right?" Cyan answer to him with sadness in her voice," I'm sorry. As much as you want not believe us but someone killed Blue" Now he looks really frighten after hearing what Cyan just said to him. This is the first time that Green actually showed fear. He start back up slowly," W-w-what are w-w-we going to now?!? T-t-this could mean t-t-that anybody could be the killer? W-w-w-w-w-what if I-I-I'm next?!? I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!!!!!!" 

He was about to run away when Black sudden appearance startle him which made him scream like a little girl. He cling onto Purple when he arrived shortly after Black took his seat. Purple is probable a little confused of why Green is holding him like a teddy bear. Purple didn't really care why and try to sit down with Green not letting him go. All of us, except for Black, Purple and Green, are giggling at him holding onto Purple like life depends on it. We all waited until Red and Lime join us so the meeting can start. Lime took her seat with me and White and Red took his with Orange. He clear his throat Before he begin," Thank you for coming. I'm very sorry to call all of you on such short notice but we unfortunately lost a crewmate today. Blue was found by Pink Lime, White and Cyan half eaten with only his legs left in the hallway from Admin. We kinda know who the killer is but...Cyan, can you please explain this part to them." "Of course. I do believe that the killer is the blob that we found from planet Polus. 'Somebody' let it escape," Cyan explain while while quoting the word 'somebody'. We all glared at who that 'somebody' is. Green sweated a lot from the amount of stares he's getting in the room," Why are you guys looking me like that?" "Green, we know that this is something that you will obviously do just to pull one of your stupid pranks on one of us!!!!", Lime shouted at him. He really have a look of guilt now after hearing that. He sighs in defeat," Fine, this happen 2 weeks ago. I didn't think that  thing is harmful if I just watch it from the sidelines and fed it everyday. I heard from Lime that it can shape-shift. So, I was going prank Blue by scaring him with it.  But, I let it run away out of Medbay by accident" 

Cyan slam her hands down on the table," Green, what the hell?!? Do you realize what you just cause us? We got an alien running loose in the ship for two weeks now!!! For all we know, we could've already have an imposter among us in this very room!!!!" Everyone in the room look scared. I wouldn't blame them though. I would be petrified if the killer is next to me in the same room. Red continued, " Cyan please calm down. I know this look really bad but I decided that the best way to handle this is find out who the imposter is and vote them out. When we believe we found out who the imposter is, they will get ejected into space. No exceptions." Lime passes out the tablets to all of us as Red explains to us," This is how voting system works. We will first explain where we were and what task we last did. Now if you don't to be mistaken as a n imposter, it will good to have someone who can back you up. It also good to speak up if you see someone do anything suspicious. When we all believe we figure it out, each of us will vote who we think is an imposter. The one with the most votes will be kick out of the ship. But there's also a time where you can skip voting if you're not sure yet. Understand?" We all nodded in agreement. The sooner we get the alien off the ship, the better. I don't want to see more people dying especially my friends.

 I decided that I want to go first," I'll go first Red. I was in admin having hard time swiping the card. Then-" "I helped the distress princess with the card!", Green finishes proudly. I just cringe while the rest of the crew were shocked. Orange stared both me and Green," Pink, is this true?" I admitted, "I can't believe I'm say this but yes he actually help me" "See? I can be helpful if I wanted to. After all, I'm the bravest astronaut in Skeld", Green said. Most of us snickered at him since he still  holding onto Purple during the conversation. I know that he's scared like the rest of us but this is ridiculous. He may as well be Shaggy from Scooby-Doo being  more of a jerk with the huge ego that take up the whole world itself. "If you're so brave, then why are you hold onto Purple like a teddy bear?", I ask trying not to laugh. He finally catch on why we're snickering at him and quickly got off of Purple to go to his own seat," I only hold onto him to ensure that he's safe from that horrible alien." All of us just give a look 'Right' even though we can't see each others faces though the dark glass of the helmets. 

"Well, that settles Pink and Purple. Lime, White and Cyan. We already know that you were with Pink. But where were you before that?", Red asked. Cyan answered while glaring at Green," Well, as you already know, I was at the lab the check on the alien when I discovered that SOMEONE let it out." Green sweatdrop under Cyan's glare. She continued," I panicked and start to search around the ship. After a while, I found Pink, Lime and White. I asked them if they seen the alien which cause panic. Then we heard a scream down the right hallway. We hurried to found out that Blue is dead with only his legs on the ground. That when we came to you to report the body." Me, Lime and White nod to confirm that Cyan is telling the truth. White said she was destroying the asteroids while Lime is watching the cams before they came to me when I screamed out of frustration. 

" Ok, we already know of Pink Lime, White and Cyan whereabouts so far. Green, where were you after helping Pink?", Red asked Green. He simply reply," Making a sandwich at the Cafeteria." Yeah, he's definitely not an imposter. He's way too lazy to be a murderer. Red didn't bother to ask him any more questions and move on to Purple and Black," What were you two doing?" "I was taking the trash out while Black is helping me", Purple explained. Black nods to confirm Purple's story. Red went 'hhhhmmm' before he spoke," This is very hard to see who the imposter is. Everyone has an alibi." That's true what he's saying. All of us have someone who can back up each other. It's really hard to see who is lying. We all agree to skip for now and hopefully we'll find out who is the wolf in sheep's clothing before there's no one left in the ship.
