HEYYYYY BABIES!!!
It's me, Lee Cheonsa, writing gay stuff again because why not?
This time our romantic interest is the lovely Amber Lui. Not gonna lie, she was one of my first kpop crushes! Like, can you blame me? She is so talented and just awesome and she looks like that!
I am going to link her songs along with some of the chapters so that we can enjoy her amazing music together as we go on this story journey.
Okay, let's just get started! Hope you enjoy!
Running down the stairs, I adjusted my ponytail. I could see the car outside through the window, they were stepping out, and there she was.
Short haired and muscular, she stood tall in the orange light of the setting sun. Hand on the door knob, I put on a smile. I swung open the door and walked over to our guests.
"Good evening!" I greeted them with a slight bow. She turned from her luggage to look at me with a sweet smile that reached her eyes.
"Good evening! Y/N! Great to finally meet you!" She extended her tanned hand. I shook it happily and nodded. Everyone exchanged greetings.
"Same. I apologise for not being here the last time you were here." I said while helping her with her bags.
We walked up to the stairs as our parents walked towards the kitchen. Alone now, she nudged my elbow and said, "You don't have to be that formal, you know? We are going to be roommates from now now!" We climbed up at a steady pace.
I chuckled. "Yeah. Of course. It's exciting to have you here." We placed the bags in one corner of the small room and prepared to return. "So, do you like the room?" I asked.
"Ohh yes! It's really comfy." She gave me a quick reply and we raced down the stairs and in the jolly mood, joined our parents for dinner.
Chatter filled the air as the time ticked away. Before we realised, it was time for Amber's parents to leave.
"Don't give them any trouble, okay?" Her mom ruffled her hair and placed a kiss on her forehead. "Thank you so much for taking in our daughter for this year!" She turned to my parents and me.
I smiled cheerfully and replied, "It's our pleasure." My mom placed her hand on my shoulder, squeezing it a little too hard.
The car drove away and we returned to our room. Diving into bed, she laughed nervously. Clearly she felt a little awkward, meeting me for the first time and all.
"You must be tired after the flight." I remarked while sitting down next to her, hoping to cut the tension in the air.
"It was so boring!" She exclaimed. "How was that volleyball camp thing that you went for while I was here last time?" Rolling over to lie on her stomach, she faced me.
"It was ... counterproductive." I let out an anxious laugh. "I ended up leaving the club actually."
"What happened?" She looked concerned.
I placed my hand on the bed to steady myself and let my head fall back. "Things. I don't really get along well with the team." I found myself admitting. "Sorry for making it awkward." I quickly added.
"Oh no! You're not. Glad you trust me enough to talk to me about it." Her face was the prefect combination of inviting softness and admirable sharpness.
A smiled lifted my lips. "I'll turn off the lights." Walking over to the door, I did so and closed the door. "Do you want the windows open?"
"I don't have a preference. Just leave it the way you like it." She yawned.
"Okay ..." The windows were closed and I sat down at my chair, spinning around so that she couldn't see the screen of my laptop as I put it upon my extended legs balanced at the end of the stiff mattress.
"Got work?" She spoke in an almost whisper.
"Huh?" I was caught off guard. "Yeah ... a summer project, sort of." I replied in a whisper.
"What's it?" She asked eagerly. "If you're okay telling me." I heard the sheets rustling as she moved.
"I don't think it's good enough for you to see it yet." She was near me now, her eyes glowing in the tinted blue light.
A small pout appeared on her face making me press my lips together. "Don't do the puppy eyes at me!" I shouted playfully.
"Can't help it ... I'm naturally cute." Her glassy eyes widened even more as she played into it.
"You are." I seconded her as I leaned back against the chair. A shade of red shot up on my cheeks. I was in trouble, wasn't I?
Thank you so much for reading! Please vote and comment if you like the chapters.
