When you try your best, but you don't succeed.
When you get what you want, but not what you need.
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep.
Stuck in reverse.

Have you ever felt pain and sorrow? Have you ever said to yourself, wow my life sucks. Or have you ever cried yourself to sleep because your problems have sunken deep into your brain, and it hurts so so bad?

Megan has.

She knows what it feels. In Fact, its the only thing she ever seems to feel. Pain in the morning, horror in the afternoon, and frustration in the night.
She didn't believe in fairy tales, the ones where the so called Prince Charming saves the princess. She doesn't believe because she knows shes too far and too lost to be saved by any Prince, whoever it may be.

Since "i hate my life" is an understatement for her, she tries to be a normal teenager.
She goes to class and "listens" to the teacher, eats lunch with a few of her friends, goes home, attempts to do her homework, eats dinner, and cries in bed. Shes tired, but it seems as if sleep and her don't get along too well.

"I know its hard. I know you feel alone. But not everyone is okay, even a white rose has a black shadow"

She was thankful her mom supported and helped her. But she felt like she could do it on her own. She doesn't need help because shes capable and aware of her own problems, and frankly, didn't need anyone else knowing about them.

So she stayed quiet, and hurt, and pained,

And alone.
