Prolouge

Dallas, Texas 2001
Four years ago today
"Cameron" I turn when I hear my name, looking around I see no one.
"Cameron!" I hear someone call my name again. So again I look around to see who's calling for me. "On Earth you idiot, fly down here we need to talk!" Demons!
I snap my wings out and fly down to Earth.
"Whatever it is make it quick. I'm not suppose to be on Earth as it is and if the Main Angels find out I am. Bad things will happen!" I whisper not sure if anyone is on the street and if they are...are they listening to our conversation?
"Quit panicking! You'll get us busted!" Jonathan says
"I'll get us busted for panicking? Right because you, Jonathan Michael, a demon and me, Cameron Jordan, an angel talking won't draw attention to us?"
"Quit being sarcastic and listen to me" I look at him and lean up against the dark alley wall. "Ok you want to be on Earth right?"
"Ya, I guess" I say mainly trying to convince myself. Whatever it is Jonathan's getting at can't be good.
"Let's have a wild night like we use to. One last time and just for fun?" I nod as we walk to the end of the alley.
"Ashley! Ashley! Hurry up" The girls run past the alley way
"Amber slow down your running to fast" I look at Jonathan and he nods.
He walks out of the alley and onto steps of some apartment building. I walk up to the girls.
"Isn't it a little to late for you two to be out? Let me get you home" I use my Angelic Powers to make myself appear different than I really look. "My mom told me not to talk to strangers" The younger of the two says.
"Amber what do you think your doing right now? This man is just offering to see is home safely" The oldest girl turns and looks at me, "I would love to take you up on your offer but-"
"Ashley, lets go, lets go. Mommy said she'd have cake waiting for us when we got home! It's your birthday anyway! Mommy am said she wanted us home right after the movie lets go. Please?!?" Amber says
"Well I see you too have to get going" I say and nod at Jonathan, "Best you be off then" I turn and walk over to Jonathan on the steps. He looks at me,
"Nice work for a rookie" He says and claps his hands so loudly both the girls jump. Amber takes off running and Ashley follows her.
I snap my wings back out and fly as I follow the girls. Jonathan doing his demon thing to follow them.
They eventually lead us back to there house and after about an hour they go to bed. Once there parents leave for the night Jonathan and I enter the girls house. We make our way to Ambers room. The one she shares with Ashley.
Jonathan puts his hand over Ambers mouth and picks her up. The girl still manages to scream and wake up her sister. I shake my head at Jonathan. If we fail and get caught it's his fault I've done this twice before and I'm still an angel.
Jonathan looks at me and says,
"Give me my gun" I toss him the gun that fell out of his pants waist band and onto the girls floor. "Now do something with that girl" I put her in a magical cage that will disappear as soon as I leave. Jonathan tosses the girl back against the door and knocks he out then shoots her once in the leg, then again in the belly.
"No!" Ashley screams, "No she's only six leave her alone! Kill me if you want to kill someone! Kill me and let my sister live!"
"Now. Now. You don't deserve to die its your birthday" Jonathan says to Ashley.
"Don't kill her!" Ashley yells which only provokes Jonathan. That causes him to shoot the young girl in her head and kill her.
"NO!!! I HATE YOU!!! I HATE BOTH OF YOU!!! YOU KILLED HER, YOU KILLED MY SISTER, AMBER!!!! SHES DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU!!!!" Ashley yells at Jonathan then, once again, she turns to me. "Help me, he killed my sister he's probably going to kill me too!" She says to me and. Jonathan leaves, "Help me" Ashley repeats but this time with tears in her eyes.
I leave and fly back up to the clouds.

"Cam" I look and smile when I see my brother, "Cam the Main Angels want to see you! What did you do this time?" I look at my younger brother and say,
"I love you Spencer. Keep that in mind." I walk to the Main Angels Palace and slowly enter the ballroom where they meet.
"Cam, nice of you to actually join us" Main Angel Auggie says
"Nice to see you too Main Angel Auggie" I say
"Do you mind telling us where you were tonight Cam?" Auggie ask
"I went for a walk" I say casually
"A walk? And what did you do on that walk?"
"I walked sir" I say
"Oh give it up Cameron we know where you were tonight and we know what you did. This was you last chance Young Angel" Auggie says
"What are you saying sir?" I ask
"You can consider yourself Fallen" He snaps his fingers.
The next thing I know my body is flying unwillingly to Earth at a speed so high I wouldn't dare to try and fly like that ever again. Especially not after this. Spencer's going to freak when Main Angel Auggie tells him I'm no longer a High Angel of Heaven but instead a Fallen Angel.
Why did I help Jonathan tonight? I'm done with Demons!
