It was just another day for me. Another hectic day in this noisy, obnoxious jungle of a city. Where is this place you might ask? The city most people dream of touristing to or some even consider committing living arrangements here. The big apple. The city that never sleeps. The concrete jungle. New York City. Or more specifically, Manhattan. Granted, I had just moved to this part of the city not too long ago, however, crowds are not my forte.

You could say I'm a bit of an introvert. I live alone and I barely go out. Well, I take that back. I don't live alone exactly. I have my dog, D/N, whom of which is much better compared to a human roommate in my opinion. I had originally got D/N for my anxiety after moving to the city, but, D/N is my family. I spoil my fur baby. I'm more fond of dogs rather than cats mainly because I never wanted to be dubbed "the crazy cat lady". Besides, having a dog is more beneficial and D/N keeps my mind off of the stressful things that come throughout the bustle of city life. As well as keeping me active. Anyways, mechanical noises of machinery brought me back to the present. Having been in the library for an hour or so was a great stress reliever for me since aside from my apartment it is the only silence I can find as a sanctum for my sanity. I was in the midst of a chilling book series and I held the book I checked out earlier close to my chest as I watched the scene unfold in front of my curious E/C eyes. In front of Shady Acres Nursing Home, according to the sign on the brick wall, two beyond handsome men stood, watching as the remains of the building crumbled to the ground. It was a demolition site now whereas beforehand in it's prime was a safe haven for the elderly.

I hope all who resided there has been transferred to a decent home. This is kind of depressing. I wonder why they tore it down? I pondered as I watched the destruction take place before me. After these thoughts passed, I averted my gaze to the tall men who seemed to look just as bamboozled as me. I took in their looks and attire. I've seen many unbelievably good looking men in this city, but, these two were gorgeous. Godly, almost. They looked as if they were actors. Normally, I would just take in the looks and move on with my day, but something about these two seemed off? The people around them seemed to keep their distance as if they were alienated from society. Maybe they were infamous for something? A few people who passed them gave the man in all black the evil eye. A few glares here and there. People rushed by me on the street, almost knocking my book out of my grasp, but I was so intrigued by these guys that I barely paid any mind to it. It wasn't suppose to rain today so I had found it odd that the blonde was carrying an umbrella while he had his arms crossed. The other one is dressed in a rather odd avant-garde suit, which is as black as his hair. Shaking myself out of my dreamy adoration, I figured it was time I quite gawking at the men and see if they need assistance in finding something or someone. Getting closer, I was able to catch a few words.

"I swear I left him right here." The man in all black stated precariously. Wow, he has an accent. He couldn't be more attractive.

"Right here on the sidewalk? Or right there? Where the building that's being demolished? Great planning." Blondie too? Could these guys be anymore attractive? Damn female hormones! Okay, focus, Y/N. Quite internally fawning over them! They are beyond out of your league anyway. After these thoughts vanished, or rather lingered in the back of my mind, I stood beside them. Keeping my distance so that they could finish their conversation ergo leading me to their dilema. Hopefully. Or else, I'd be a creepy eavesdropper. Or if not that, I'd surely be mistaken for a journalist of some kind.
