Where Is Everyone (Green x Yellow)

Yellow walked into electrical to find Green already there. Green looked to be fiddling with the distributer in electrical. 

"Hey Green!"

Green turned around startled with pure distain in his eyes, they softened instantly when they met Yellow's. 

"Oh, hey Yellow." He greeted back. "What are you doing in electrical?"

"Just making sure there's no dead bodies here haha" Yellow joked. "I'm actually here to calibrate the distributor" She said disappointedly.

"Oh, yeah they should really put cameras in here." 

"I'm glad I'm not here alone at least." She blushed.

A loud tone erupted from the intercom, a dead body had been reported. A chill ran down Yellow's spine. She was frozen in place. 

"Come on," Green said, "We've got to go."

"Some one died?" Yellow paled. 

Green locked hands with Yellow reassuringly and led her to the cafeteria.

"Where was the body?" Blue asked.

"In security." Purple replied with disappointment. 

"I can't believe pink died," whispered Yellow "She always seemed so strong." 

Black nodded in response.

"I didn't see anyone there" Purple said. 

"I was with lime." Blue said.

"I was with Yellow." Green blushed a little.

Purple ended the meeting.

Yellow went to admin with Purple and began to upload files.

"Why are you following me?" Purple snapped at her.

"I'm just uploading files?"

"Well you're being really sus."

"Wow? Why? I'm just doing my tasks." 

"You think I don't notice your 'obvious innocent' act? I'll vote you off the first chance I get." Purple glared at Yellow.

"Hey! why would you talk to her like that?" Green walked into the room with his fists clenched. 

Yellow looked to Green with tears in her eyes. "I don't know what she's talking about."

Green gave a deadly glare to Purple. then he met Yellow's eyes and sighed. "Lets go Yellow." 

He clasped Yellow's wrist practically dragged her out of admin.

"I'm sure Purples just shocked about pink's death." She admitted.

Green scoffed. "Honestly your naiveté is endearing, but Purple still doesn't have the right to talk to you that way, grieving or not."

"Where are we going?" 

"What tasks do you have?"

"I still have to do wires," Yellow shifted a little "In navigation."

"Okay, I'll come with you."

A loud tone once again erupted from the speakers. A dead body had been reported. both Black and Blue were dead.

"Where was it?" Green asked.

"In the reactor area" Lime said.

"Lime is sus." said Purple.

"Why is Lime sus?" Yellow questioned.

"No one else was over there" Purple replied.

"Yeah that's a little suspicious." Green admitted.

"Oh okay." Yellow voted for lime.

"You guys, its not me, I just found Blue dead!" Lime pleaded.

Yellow didn't want to vote anyone out, but people were dying. If something wasn't done they'd all die.

"I'm sorry Lime." She said.

Lime was lead to the air lock. Lime was ejected.

Purple looked suspiciously between Green and Yellow. 

"Its definitely Yellow I cant believe she's still alive." Purple commented.

Green got this scary look in his eye that startled Yellow. He met Yellow's eyes and his expression of rage turned to one of an apologetic gaze. The lights began to flicker and dim, Green pulled Yellow close and whispered.

"I'm sorry."

It was dark and tears ran down Yellow's cheeks. His embrace faded and she'd realized who the saboteur was. Her knees buckled from underneath her, and she fell to the cold linoleum floor. By the time Green's embrace returned the lights were on, and Purple was gone. 

"Why?" At first those words barely left Yellow's lips as a whisper. Her mournful muttering increasing in volume as the shock began to sink in. "WHY!?"

Green simply held her in a tight embrace, tears soaking his shirt. In a moment of clarity, Yellow pushed herself away in horror.

"Am, am I next?" She sobbed.

Green shook his head in response.

"Then why? Why am I left alive?" She lied on the floor, staring at the ceiling, blurry with tears.

"Oh, Yellow. I'm not nearly as much of an impostor as they were."

Yellow inhaled sharply. "What do you mean?"

"In security, pink was telling me about how she thought you were a horrible crewmate, and that we should just eject you." He sighed and continued, "This made me so angry, it awakened something I didn't know I was capable of, suddenly in that moment murder became an option for me." He paused to take a deep breath, "Initially I wasn't going to do it, to kill her, but then she started talking about a plan she had to get you ejected, where she would convince everybody you were a murderer, and be rid of you."

"What about the others? Surely they didn't also want to kill me?" Yellow said shakily.

"I over heard a conversation between Black and Blue, about how they wanted a different female crew member, how you were always so oblivious to their advances and turned them away, they wanted to eject you too. I couldn't stop myself then, I just murdered them one by one, cornering them." Green said mournfully.

"But, but Lime didn't want to kill me right?" Yellow stared in shock.

"Lime also wanted to be rid of you, so when the opportunity came for me to vote, I jumped at the chance to give him what he intended to do to you." Green paused and looked into Yellow's eyes, "I regret murdering them, but I do not regret the fact it was them that I killed, I may be a murderer but their collective hatred almost killed you, so in a sense I killed the true killers, the ones people disregard the most. Off handed comments and wishes of harm are the weapons of murderers that roam free."

"I think I need some time." Yellow said.

"Of course."

Yellow got up and walked to med bay where she lied on the bed and promptly took a stress induced nap. 

When Yellow woke up there was a blanket as well as a glass of water. She walked to the cafeteria, where Green was waiting.

"So, what now?" She asked.

"It's up to you." He replied.

"Thanks for going a round about way of saving my life I guess?" She shrugged. "Maybe we should just lie low for a bit."

Green stood up and approached her, clasping her into an embrace.

"Is this okay with you?" He asked.

"Of course."

"I would never let anyone hurt you," He breathed.

He kissed her forehead and rested his chin on her head.

"You're all mine now."
