*Beep! Beep!  Beep!*

My alarm went off.  I slammed my hand onto the snooze button as I snuggled farther into my blanket. I put my hand underneath my pillow and curled my legs up to my stomach. I was so comfortable, and so tired. I went to bed at 3 in the morning. I was up all night on Skype with Skylar. We were rehearsing for our play that we have to perform in English. I’m a terrible actress, but Skylar is pretty good. She is a very dramatic person in general, so it kind of suits her. Our play is about two girls from the Revolutionary War who took care of the wounded soldiers. But, it was way too early in the morning for me to even be thinking about this. I pulled the cover up to my chin and hugged my knees. I sleep in a pretty weird position. I get all curled up in a ball, some people may say it’s uncomfortable, but I say it’s snug and warm.

“Lucy! Get up now!” My dad screeched from downstairs. I groaned loudly.

“Five more minutes!” I yelled back. It must’ve been ten seconds before I heard heavy footsteps pounding up the stairs. Daddy is coming up. He opened my door, turned my light on, and kept the door open. He knew how much I hated my door wide open. It aggravated me so much. “Dad! Close the door!” I heard no reply. I moaned and had no choice instead of getting up. I walked over to my door and slammed it shut, making a very loud noise. I plopped back onto my bed and grabbed my phone.

Morning Lucy, open your window. XxPaynexx

I got up from my bed, practically dragging myself to the window. I sat in the cushioned part of the window and pulled the blinds up. I lifted up the glass shield that blocked the outside. Liam was sitting in the  cushioned part of his window  also, he was reading a book. Classic Liam. I wave at him and smile.

“Hey Li.” I shout loud enough for him to hear. He puts his book down and smiles back. He signals one finger up. He gets up and puts the book in a draw. He sits back down.

“No tie, or tie.” He holds up  a black tie.

I shake my head. “No tie. It makes you look to old.”

Liam is my next  door neighbor and he has been ever since I was 2 years old. Our houses are close enough just for us to talk from our windows. It’s been a tradition to do every morning, since we were six years old. We go to the same boring school, St Peters Collegiate School.

“This is why you are my top advisor.” He says with a chuckle. I take fashion classes and I’m very into design and stuff like that. Basically all my clothes are made by me, I’m hoping to one day open up my own clothing line.

“Me and Skylar are definitely going to fail our play today.” I laugh and so does he.

“Well with Skylar in your group, it seems kind of hard for you to fail. No matter how hard you try.” Liam runs his fingers through his hair. “Well, I got to go now. I’ll pick you up for school in like 15 minutes.” He closes his blinds and so do I.

I walk over to my dresser and pick up a blue, sequined shirt and a pair of jeans. Way to plain. I always add something to my outfit, that’s just vintage me. I look in my bins and take out a  white scarf. I wrap it around my neck. Next, I put on a blue beanie with fake crystals on it. I look in my mirror and put half my hair in a pony tail, leaving some hair down. Max loves when I put my hair like this. He says it frames my ‘beautiful’ face. Yeah right, beautiful? Not even close. Max is my boyfriend. He’s captain of the boys basketball team. You could say I’m kind of popular. I’ve got a lot of friends and I am dating the captain of the boys basketball team. I don’t like to brag though. I’m not mean at all though. It’s usually a cliché for a girl who’s popular to be a total bitch, but I’m nice and that’s why I have good friends. I pace down the stairs and I got a text from Skylar.
