Cleo's Pov
"Cleo, can you come here?" I was messing around with a chessboard randomly in my room, but even from all the way in here.
I could hear Ciel calling for me. I sighed, standing up. I set aside the chess pieces and stepped outside my room, looking both ways.

I then made my way towards Ciel's office knocking, he told me to enter which I did seeing he was having his daily sweet cake with tea, I didn't know how his teeth didn't hurt from eating all those sweets.

My teeth were hurting just thinking about it really. "Sit." He gestured for me to sit across from him, which I did staying seated across from Ciel who was taking small sips from his tea.

"Its the time of year, were the Trancy manor has their annual costume ball, Alois Is a boy my age, with a demon butler like me, he doesn't mean any harm for right now, we all shall be attending since you have become a great part of this household."

I perked up a little staring at Ciel dead in his blue eyes seeing they weren't holding any lies at all.

"A costume ball, what the hell is that?" I questioned watching Ciel chuckle setting his teacup to the side of his large desk.

"It's just as it sounds you dress up in costume it's like any other ball, I think I have a costume for you Lou brought it, I know Mey-Rin isn't gonna wear it." He waved his hand a bit but grinned at me leaning on his chin a bit.

"So tell me about you and Sebastian? Any developments.?" I never would take Ciel as the type who wanted to hear about gossip or anything I gulped a little.

"Don't worry, I won't keep him from you, I've been waiting for you two to get together cause he shows emotions, but he is clumsy like watch this," Ciel smirked and called out Sebastian's name.

In a mid instant, Sebastian had made his way inside the office. "Yes, young master?" He questioned looking so confused.

"So I have picked out Cleo's costume, we must withhold the best costume, she shall be a very revealing bunny." Ciel got up showing the outfit and my jaw dropped along with Sebastian looking startled.

"Young master you are joking, right? She can't possibly wear that when there is a spider lurking." Sebastian glared a bit.

"Sebastian, I don't see why my costume is such a big deal, I mean Ciel lied it's not even that showy it's a short dress." I gestured with my hand chuckling seeing Sebastian's annoyed expression.

The night of the ball came around, and of course, my thoughts were just full of everything. The fact that Sebastian wanted me to become a demon like him at the age of eighteen in less than a year.

"I mean I look like a butler like you, Ciel was just messing with you." I giggled watching Ciel who was talking with a group of people standing near him was a blonde-haired boy with the shortest pair of shorts I had ever seen.

I wasn't too sure what his costume was, but I know he managed to find stockings as well. Ciel told me that was Alois Trancy as soon as we arrived.

"That's not the point," Sebastian spoke but I then just gave his cheek a soft kiss watching him gaze at me gently.

"I'm pretty sure you were the one who told you are suppose to enjoy balls, not stressing about costumes." I chuckled watching Sebastian then just chuckled.

"Taking the words right out of my mouth I see my dear." He gave me quite a fast quick kiss before he wandered off making sure May-Rin, Bardroy and Finny weren't messing about, while I was wandering the ball floor hearing the loudest laughter.

I spun around not use to wearing any type of heel or even boot heels. I quickly almost crashed into someone carrying drinks but caught a few in my grip.

"I apologize, that was my fault I'm sorry." I apologized gently but I was locked in this gaze of deep yellow eyes. Demon I thought this must be the butler Ciel told me about.

"No totally my fault, but you should be careful little bunny, might get tangled in a web." He told me cracking a smile, I also slowly smiled helping him place the glasses back in his tray.

"Where are my manners, I'm Claude, the Head Butler of the Trancy estate." He bowed at me a bit but I quickly squealed.

"No, no don't bow to me please, I'm not a royal from London," I told him gently laughing.

"I'm Cleo, from Egypt. " I told him softly. "I see demons a little higher up than me," I told him watching a small glint flash across his eyes before he sent me a smirk.

"Clever girl you are then, I knew I sensed the Michaelis mark on you, it's hard not to miss his gross scent of a crow, take it from the senses of a spider but I thought he had a contract with that little brat."

I let a small snort out and was gonna speak again but then I jolted when Sebastian was by me in an instant.

"As always the spider is nosy." I looked at Sebastian seeing both of them were glaring at one another.

"Sebastian don't be rude." I nudged him in his side making him grunt a bit.

"Nothing to be rude about, more of a warning." I deeply faced palmed a little.

"It never hurts to look."
