I killed my Twin Sister

Chapter 1

Hi!I'm Britany,how are you doin'? This is my story and my twin story,& It all started here.

"Hay! Ang sarap talaga ng buhay sa probinsya."Brinhaly said.
"Yes, twinnie oo nga eh, sana di na lang tayo lumipat sa Maynila." Sagot ko sa kanya.

Magkasundo pa naman kami sa panahong bata pa kami.

"Hey,Britany!"my friend said.

"Oh, hey, Allesa!"sabay salubong sa kaibigan ko

"Hi Brinhaly, I'm glad na hindi pa kayo aalis"dagdag pa ni Allesa.

"Ah, yes, we'll be staying here for good but, dad said, if me and Britany turns 18,we will move to Manila."Brinhaly--

"Ah, so when will you get back here?"Sagot ni Allesa.

"Umm,actually we don't know kung makakabalik pa kami"dugtong ni Brinhaly.

And then it starts, I get jealous with my sister. Palagi nya nalang kinukuha ang atensyon ng mga kaibigan ko.Para bang, inaagaw nya ang lahat lahat ng meron ako like my friends,and especially our parents.

Hanggang sa lumayo na ang loob ko sa kapatid ko, and everytime she calls me,I ignored her. And andoon na din yung feeling na parang, there is a demon inside her.

It's been 3 years, and now we're 17.

The jealousy I feel for my sister grows, it's getting stronger, mas lalo akong naiinggit.

1 month na lang ay 18 na kami.
Gabi na, I felt like nagdedelubyo ang utak ko.
At naisip ko that night, exactly 8:30 ng gabi after dinner, ayain sya sa tabing dagat at patayin.

Meanwhile...

It's 8:30,I invited her to come with me by the seashore. Nakagloves ako at may dalang itak.
She asked me why I wear gloves at may dalang itak.
I said I was going to hunt wild animals.
Pero dahil halata namang Hindi siya nagdududa, nang tumalikod na siya para pumunta sa dagat, I stabbed her.

Hinatak ko sya papunta sa dagat, at nilunod sya, hanggang sa Hindi na sya magpumiglas. Iniangat Kong muli ang ulo nya, at nung makita Kong maputla na sya.
Natauhan ako. I killed her! I killed her!
Para akong napaparanoid at habng takot na takot, itinapon ko ang itak sa dagat. At tsaka tumakbo palayo.

Sinabi ko sa parents namin na nakita ko si Brinhaly na nalulunod and sinabi Kong nilapitan ko si kambal at sinabing malamig na syang bangkay.

Pero alam Kong nagdududa sila kaya...

Bago Pa sila magsalita,

"Mom, I saw a man wearing a hood habang hatak nya si Brinhaly papuntang dagat na duguan at ----"

"Diba marunong ka naman ng self defense? So, bakit Hindi mo prinotektahan ang kapatid mo?"Pagputol ni mommy sa pagsasalita ko.

"May hawak syang itak so nagtago ako sa likod ngmga puno at sa mga bushes"sagot ko.

"At nakikita Kong nilulunod nya si Brinhaly. Hanggang sa hindi na sya gumalaw!"dagdag ko Pa.

"Teka wait, then how did you know na Hindi na sya gumagalaw? "

Oh my..

"Dad, kasi nagpupumiglas sya no'ng habang nilulunod sya tapos Hindi na sya gumalaw. "I responded.

"Fine."

Hahh.. What a relief.
Akala nila maiisahan nila ako.
Kahit detective Pa si Dad he will never be as smart as I do.

Mom is a reporter kaya mausisa sya.

After that, we all go to the sea shore.
At nkita naming until until nang lumulubog ang bangkay, nasa bandang malalim na rin sya.
Inanod na ang bangkay ng kambal ko.

Tomorrow morning, we go back to the shore to retrieve her corpse but it's hopeless.

She's one with the waves now, and I don't understand but I don't feel guilty for what I did... It feels like, she deserved it.

"Hey, Britany? Hey! Are you listening?"
Allesa said which made me snapped out of my imaginations. Why I suddenly remembered that day that I killed my sister after all those years?

"Oh, uhh... Sorry, so what were you saying?"I replied confused.

"Girl, ano bang ginagawa mo kanina ka pa tulala. Is there something bothering you?"she asked sipping her coffee.

"Nothing, just... really stressed out these past few day, y'know? There's nothing to worry about, so... Where were we?"I responded.

"We're talking about your party next month girl, it's your birthday next month. I mean, you and your sister's birthday... If only she's alive"

I almost choke after she said that.

"W-wait, sister?" Kierson asked.

"Yeah, don't you know? Britany has a twin sister. —"Allesa replied.
"Unfortunately, she passed away before they moved here in Manila so, she's supposed to be 18 next month as well." dagdag niya pa.

"Y'know, her death was actually pretty mysterious if ako ang tatanungin."

"Well, what happened?"Kierson asked again.

"I don't wanna tell it, ask Britany."

I sighed as I don't wanna tell what happened.

"Anyways, going back... —"Allesa suddenly stopped talking while scrolling on her phone.

"Hey, why'd you stop?"I asked.
"Did something happen? You look a little pale, Essa."

"Oh, uh nothing may nakita lang akong article about sa dati niyong tirahan... " Allesa replied.

"Then, what about it?"

"Uh, well I saw this." She showed me an article with a picture while her hand is shaking vigorously.

I just laughed it off as I saw who the author of the article was.

"Why are you laughing? What if Brinhaly's haunting the city?"Allesa said confused and scared.

"Ok, ok first of all Allesa, there's no such thing as ghost, apparitions, and paranormal stuff. Second of all, it was tita Larrisa that wrote that article, you know how she is!" I answered sarcastically still laughing.

"She'll do anything so she can sell off her lame articles."

"Well, maybe you're right but still it's scary as maybe it's a kidnapper was doing all those things and not your twin." She said again.

"Oh, well anyways I gotta go now, I need to go meet my parents as they something special for me... Oh, and by the way Kier? You wanna join us in dinner tonight?"

"I guess so, bye babe" he answered.
"Love you, bye!"
