"Once again, thank you for having me, but I must go." I say to the somewhat large dinner crowd in front of me.
It was sweet of them to have me, but its's past my curfew. I need to get home and take me meds. Otherwise, mother will surely kill me.
"Of course Lia. Make sure to tell your parents I say hello!" My old Babysitter Nessa tells me.
I nod to her, putting a smile on my perfectly drawn on face to be polite. Once I excuse myself from the dinner table, I grab my purse from the table by the door and start to put my 3 inch heels on. As beautiful as they are, I can not wait to take these things off already.
After putting my heels on, I take out my Cell phone to tell my mother I'm on my way home. Right as I push send, the front door quickly swings open, causing me to trip on these stupid heels. Oh. Excuse my fowl mouth.
"Crap! Sorry! I didn't see you there!" the man says as he reaches his hand to me.
"Oh! Dont worry about it." ignoring his bad language then taking his hand.
When I look up, I'm almost surprised by what I see. This young man is so... handsome? Its strange to think this. My mother never allows me around men. Except family of course.
I slowly examine his appearence as he helps me up. It seems as if he has Hazel eyes, and dark brown hair. His skin looks almost the same pale shade as mine. Actually, maybe a tad bit darker.
Jasons P.O.V
As I help her up, she just stares at me. What is she doing?
I mean, she's pretty and all. She has dark brown hair and dark green eyes.
Puke green?
No, I'd say more like... moss green.
Yeah thats better.
"Uhm, are you okay?" I ask, waving my free hand in front of her face. She still hasnt let go of my other one.
"Oh Sorry, I guess I sort of... Dozed off." She says letting go of my hand. Her voice is so soft and innocent.
"Thats fine. Uhm, my names Jason by the way." I say putting my hand out again.
"Lia." She says with a dimpled smile. Her smile is kind of cute, and her dimples make it even cuter. Wait, what am I thinking?
I decide to nod, making things even more awkward.
"Well, I have to go, it was nice meeting you." Lia says before walking out the door.
