Hayley awoke with a groan. She started school, today.
She got up and changed into a sky blue hoodie and navy ripped jeans. She combed her dark hair and let her ears show. She laced up her blue boots and skipped downstairs. She hugged Slenderman and slid into her seat at the table.
Her eyes darted around and she noticed that Jeff and Hoodie weren't there.
"Slendy?" She said softly, bringing her knees up to her chest against the cold.
"Yes, child?" He replied, turning towards her curled up form.
"Where's Jeff and Hoodie..?" She asked finally beginning to slowly eat her cereal.
It was her favourite cereal, but she lost her appetite when Slenderman didn't answer.
She got up and walked towards the medical bay.
"Don't go in there!" Clockwork warned, her eyes fixed on the sixteen-year-old girl. But Hayley didn't listen. She walked inside and was shook. Her two best friends were hooked up to all sorts of machines.
"WHY THE ACTUAL FUCK DID NO ONE TELL ME?!" She screamed, pain lacing her voice.
As tears fell down her once rosy cheeks, energy surrounded her. She focused the energy on them, healing them as she had done with
Toby. She fell to one knee and Slenderman rushed to help her.
"STAY AWAY FROM ME! Please..." She shouted as the energy flowed.
He stepped back, but did not respond.
When they awoke, the energy disappeared and she hugged them both tightly.
Jeff laughed.
"Nugget, we're okay...." He said with a smile.
"Yeah, Jeff's right. We're fine... Don't worry, okay?" Hoodie said, rubbing her ears gently.
She sighed but gave in. She trusted them."It's time to go, Hayley." Slenderman instructed, coldly.
She growled.
"Fine! But do not expect me to not get into trouble!" She said and smiled wickedly at Jeff.
Jeff laughed and said under his breath, "That's my girl."
She got her bag and said her goodbyes as she headed towards the school.
One of the teachers stopped her and asked her if she had her planner.
"I'm a new student. I don't have one yet." Hayley replied and the teacher let her pass and that was the first thing she did. She went to the head teacher's office to get her planner and timetable.
She wrinkled her nose at the title.
Why should a certain teacher be higher up than the rest. It wasn't fair.
After she had gotten what she needed, she headed to her first class: Science. Posters and pictures of the periodic table, lined the walls of the classroom. Despite her childhood, Hayley was a confident girl. Always getting into fights and winning them.
She was the stereotypical bad girl. She was pushed against the wall by the "Alpha" and as he spoke, she strung the perfect response, in her mind.
"Fresh meat." He said, snarling.
"What rank are you? Delta? Healer?" Hayley laughed.
"No." She said simply.
"I'm an Alpha, demon, nine-tail fox hybrid. Wiggle my tail, because I don't give two shits what you think. Need I continue, or will you fuck off now?" The boy went red with embarrassment and fled the classroom, leaving Hayley to try and stop herself from laughing. She slid into a seat in the back corner of the classroom, leaving everyone else to their whispers and giggles.
She took out her sketchbook and began to draw. Letting her mind wander and letting her body guide the pencil along the page.
She finally finished her sketch and smiled. She noticed her Science teacher, Mr Anderson, looking over her shoulder at her work.
