Delayed (NaLu AU)

Hour 1

Natsu's P.O.V.

"Lucy! We are going to miss our flight!" I shouted to Lucy who was running behind me as we rushed to the terminal.

"I'm running as fast as I can!" She replied out of breath.

The terminal was insight and I began to speed up. Lucy grabbed my wrist.

"Wait up! I'm not that fast!" She yelled.

I blushed and so did she.

Her grip tightened.

We reached the terminal and I came to a stop, but Lucy didn't. She trip causing both of us to fall since she was still holding onto me. She landed on top of me. Our faces were inches apart. Her eyes widened and she got off me frantically.

People stared at us like we were crazy. We got up and looked around to see everyone was still waiting to get on the plane. I took a look at Lucy. She had an oversized sweatshirt and leggings on with Uggs on. She was just wow. Did we mix up the times?

I walked over to the attendant.

"Why are all these people waiting for their flight still?" I asked her.

"Because the flight has been delayed for two hours due to heavy snow fall." she replied.

"Thank you for the info." I said and walked back to Lucy.

"So, what's the deal?" She asked me.

"The flight has been delayed for two hours." I told her.

"What!? Why!?" She said.

"Heavy snow fall." I replied.

"This sucks." Lucy said.

"I know it does." I replied.

We walked over to an area with empty seats. The whole airport was practically stranded except for our terminal so we just headed to another terminal seating, but with our terminal still in sight.

Lucy contacted Levy to let her and the others know that we were delayed and to not worry.

We dropped out carry-ons on the floor and plopped into the seats next to each other.

"Natsu."

"Hm?"

"How long do you think this will last?"

"Two hours that's what she said."

"No I know that, but do you think it will take even longer after that?"

"I'm not sure."

We didn't say much after that. She grabbed a magazine to read and I was listening to music.
