WARNING, TALK OF SA
They began walking first thing in the morning, continuing on the road to Terminus.
The sun was hot, spring leaves where beginning to fall, the summer greens soon to be on their way.
There was still a small breeze in the air, but it was getting hotter and hotter.
They walked not far before another sign for the sanctuary appeared.
They were almost their, this was the last sign before they would arrive.
"We take the woods from here" Rick explained, making everyone else follow him into the woods.
Theo walked closely by Daryl, there was something in her heart that felt like she had to be near him constantly.
She needed the physical touch and reminder that he was really in front of her.
Just like that, almost like he read her mind, he reached behind him, turning to look at her, flicking his fingers out to indicate her to hold onto his hand.
She skipped towards him, taking his big hand in her small ones.
He pulled her closely towards him, walking in front of her.
Eventually they came across a fence, and through the small amounts of the fence, not covered in weeds and plants, they could see Terminus.
The large factory, a place of safety.
"Looks dead" Theo spoke up after looking around for a few minutes, not a single person coming into sight while they watched.
"We wait, look and observe, make no mistakes" Rick instructed, he was nervous, he knew how badly this could go south.
Everyone went their separate ways, Saint and Theo tagged along with Daryl as they all carefully watched Terminus.
"What do you think?" Daryl asked, not looking at her.
"I don't like it," Theo admitted, there eyes finding one another.
"You bringing him in?" He wondered, looking at Saint with a worried look.
"No, he will sit and wait until I know it's clear," Theo explained, looking down at her dog, she didn't wanna lose anyone right now, and Saint would always wait for her.
"He will do that?" Daryl asked, walking closer towards her.
"Here" She grabbed a note from her pocket that was previously attached to Saint's collar.
He read it, nodding along.
"Pretty cool dog" He smiled, Theo returning one.
"Hey Daryl" She smiled as he looked up at her, his eyes once again finding hers.
"Yeah?" He questioned, looking her up and down nervously.
She said nothing, simply stepping towards him, placing a chased kiss on his lips.
She pulled away, looking over his features as he smiled.
"I love you" She whispered. "And if things go south this time, we don't separate" She begged, she wouldn't manage being alone again, she was fearful of how she wouldn't be able to cope alone.
"I love you two. And I'm never leaving you ever again" He grabbed her hands as he nodded sternly.
They slowly made their way back to Rick who was burying the bag of weapons into the ground, covering them in leaves.
"Theo, don't hate the fact I forgot but here" Rick smiled grabbing something from the bag.
He lifted up her bat, the one she thought she had lost forever at that Prison.
