Day one after the breakup

I really don't want to be at school today. But here I am. Sitting with the group of people I don't want to be sitting with. Jason and Aaron, the ones who are making my life hell. Molly, Ava, George (Ava's boyfriend), and Cam, the ones who never talk to me. Then there's Sara. I like Sara. She's nice. I also like her girlfriend Rachel. She's nice too. The only other person I talk to is Danni but I don't want to talk to him. I just want to be sad. My body won't let me look sad. But I feel sad. I always feel sad. Nobody knows. Well, Sara knows. She can tell.

“Addy? Addyyyy?” Sara said, trying to get my attention by waving her hand in front of my face.

“Oh shit!” I shouted, snapping back into reality. That's when I realized that everyone at the table was staring at me. Then I felt my cheeks. They were wet. All the way down to my chin. I was crying.

“Another boy, Addison?” Aaron chuckled, looking at Jason for a continuation.

“That's the third this month! So glad I'm not with you anymore.” Jason grinned over at Aaron.

“At least I'm not gay for an asshole...” I mumbled looking between Aaron and Jason as I wiped the tears from my face with my sleeve.

“WH- I'm not gay!” Jason screamed, embarrassing himself, “A-anyway..what the fuck did you do to your hair Addison? You look like a boy.”

“That's what I'm going for...” I mumbled again, not loud enough for them to hear but they didn't ask me to repeat.

I just got home and it's just my older brother, his girlfriend and their daughter that's only a year old. When I found out that Simon got Nicole pregnant and they were having a child together, I was so excited. I wanted a niece so bad but it's too much work for me now. My brother's in his early 20's and his girlfriend is actually the same age, one week apart. They were best friends since birth and I've shipped them since I first saw them together. Their daughter, Abby, makes quite a mess though and I wasn't ready for what I had to clean today.
