Edward sighed. "You know, bellaroo, I could go for some giraffe." He rolled over to face me. We were laying on the ground in the hallway of our cottage, because why not. "The taste," he continued, "is very different. Quite tangy actually. All animals' bloods have different tastes."
"Well since we have forever, let's go get some giraffe." I suggested. "I ain't never been to Africa."
"Sounds like a plan." My hubby answered. "We should take Renesmee."
"Agreed."
We made our way into her bedroom to wake her up. "I sat down with her in the white rocking chair in the corner of her room.
"Yo Ness," Ed started. "Your mom and I thought we should take a secondary honeymoon to Africa. You're invited."
Nessie smiled. "I'm in," she said in her singing voice.
"Excellent," Edward responded. "Now where did I put my safari hat?" He muttered to himself as he walked out of the room. I heard him go into our closet and move around some heavy things. I smelled packing dust.
I turned my attention back to the Loch Ness Monster. "Alright, little one." I said. "Your father and I are pretty hungry, so we're leaving today, just so you know."
Edward marched back into the room then, wearing not just his safari hat, but also an impressive camouflage outfit that must've costed hundreds. Oh, and hiking boots. His stance was victorious. "I am ready," he stated. "Alice is coming, Nessie. She wants to dress you in her finest safari-wear." He picked up our daughter and cradled her in his arms. One second later, I heard Alice burst through the front door. She appeared in the doorway of Nessie's room.
Alice scooped Renesmee out of Ed's arms. "No time for affection," she barked. "You'll have plenty of that later. Let's get dressed, Ness."
"Yes, let's, Auntie A." Renesmee responded. They then disappeared into the living room.
I sighed. My daughter was growing up too fast. Then I retreated back to Ted's and my room. We worked together to make our bed like the people in those cheesy commercials.
Then I went to change. I saw Cady Herron wearing army pants and flip flops, so I wore army pants and flip flops. Also, the pants matched the festivities for the day. After I pulled my hair up into a fierce ponytail, Edward and I put war paint on our faces. We took a selfie together to put on Edward's Instagram later. He almost had 4000 followers, and he just made it 2 days ago.
Alice had put Renesmee's hair in a French braid, kind of like Katniss's. When we were all set, we all went back to the main house to say out goodbyes and also pose for a family Christmas photo. It was the New Year, but I never knew when something like this would happen again. And the Cullen's usually paid a fortune to have one big Kardashian-esque Christmas family photo, but Edward and I wanted to send out our own humbled-down version this year.
With that, we were off.

FanficThis is going to be a ridiculous story. I just think it's pretty funny when the characters don't act so serious.
