CHAPTER 15

After Peter informed the team about the mission we all got buckled into our seats and shot out into the sky into the deep dark abyss they call outer space. We saw another space ship wrecked and it was all damaged up with missing chunks of the ship. Then i noticed their was the astronauts just floating around.

"We have to get them out of their before they die" i said worried, feeling defenseless. "Wait Clara do you think your gills would work out their without you getting hurt" i said to one of the girls she had powers to control the water and could breathe underwater with her gills.

"I can try" she said shakily,, she got up and entered the area where she got tethered and where she could leave. Everyone saw as she left the space huddle and grabbed one astronaut at a time because their was only so many like 3 i saw. Then... my worst fears were coming true. A black like fog like energy thing was coming towards us and fast demolishing all the space wreck in its path. While everyone was discussing what to do while Clara was out their getting the astronauts i left the room to go get tethered up. I knew it had to be me, i was a nobody now, so i knew it had to be to go out their and sacrifice myself so the others could get away.

Right as i was leaving everyone was swarming around the door to get too me too stop me but i had locked it so no one could get in to stop me, especially Peter who was banging on the door giving it his all. Poor, poor Peter i felt bad for him. I love him and want the best for him but i know what im doing is the right thing. And i was sucked into space... it felt cold, like death was creeping near and it was but, then it wasn't. I felt the black fog entering my body, my veins, my blood. I felt powerful again. Then everything went black and i went unconcise.
