Hour 3

Natsu's P.O.V.

I looked at Lucy. She truly was my best friend. I'm not sure what my life would be like without her. We wouldn't be going on this trip if it wasn't for us meeting. She is really one of the best things that have ever happened to me.

Suddenly I heard a loud voice start talking that caught my attention due to the fact that I could hear it over my music. I took out one of my earbuds to listen.

"Flight 102 has been delayed for another 2 hours. We are sorry for the inconvenience." A woman said over the intercom. That was our flight.

Lucy's face came out of her phone to look straight at me with a shocked and disappointed face.

"Are you serious!?" She said.

"It's ok, atleast we have each other, right?" I replied.

"You're right, if I was alone, I would have probably killed somebody by now. You're the one keeping me sane." Lucy told me with a smile stretched across her face.

"Can you text Gajeel to let everyone know that it's been delayed for another 2 hours?" She asked me.

"Sure."

To: Gajeel

Flights been delayed for another 2 hours. Let Levy and the others know.

From: Gajeel

Will do. See you soon hopefully

To: Gajeel

Hopefully

"All done." I told Lucy.

"Thanks." she replied.

"Luce."

"Yeah?"

"I'm just happy I'm stuck here with you and not someone else."

"You know what Natsu."

"What?"

"Me too."

We went back to what we were doing earlier and began to once again wait for two hours to pass by.

I truly was happy though that I was stuck here with Lucy and not anyone else.

"Do you want to go grab something to eat?" Lucy asked
"Sure." I replied.

We took our stuff and went to a little cafe in the airport. We were seated by a kind waitress who would be back shortly.

"Ok so what can I get you guys?" She asked.

"I'll have a turkey panini and a coke." I answered. I handed my menu back to her.

"And for your girlfriend?"

I looked at Lucy. She was frozen. Her eyes widened, her mouth gaping. Although she was blushing immensely.

"She'll just have what I'm having." I answered.

The waitress nodded, grabbed the menu out of Lucy's frozen hands and walked away promising to bring out our food shortly.

"She thought I was your girlfriend," Lucy finally managed to spit out,"why didn't you correct her!?"

I looked at her for a few seconds before answering. It seemed like it bothered her. "Was it a problem?" I said.

The question startled her.

"No..." she finally said, "no it wasn't."
