SMG4: A Different Story (Male Reader)

Chap. 1: Just a normal day

Everybody's doing their own stuff today. SMG4 making some memes, Tari playing games, Saiko kicking the shit out of Bob after trying to do something weebly, Boopkins watching some kind of cringey anime, Mario trying to steal Luigi's spaghetti, Bowser trying to get Peach to marry her, Meggy getting used to her new human form, and (Y/N) who was reading a book silently under the shade of a tree while leaning against it.

(Y/N) was no ordinary guy, you could give him that. The crew found him walking around Anime Island after landing on it's shores and continuing to the base filled with Anime characters. He didn't seem hostile back then, it was just like he's taking a walk in the park. Like nothing was happening.

(Y/N) likes to wear black, sometimes gray and both of them with the color white. Shirt and jacket, pants, cap, shoes, and his facemask covering the lower part of his face, also his eyes but not completely black of course. He's tall, about 6'7 or something like that. He may look like an ordinary 18 year old teenager to you but let me tell you something, he's not human.

"(Y/N)!" Shouted Meggy which was running towards her as fast as she can go. She was still wobbly while moving since yesterday. Did I tell you that it all happened just yesterday? Guess not.

(Y/N) put his book down and looked at Meggy. Meggy was about to fall down after tripping on a rock but (Y/N) glitched and appeared beside her successfully catching the once inkling, now female human in his arms.

"How do you even do that?" She asked. (Y/N) just shrugged and helped Meggy regain his posture. By the way, he's not much of a talker. At first, they all thought that he was deaf or something since he never spoke.

(Y/N) gave a what do you want look towards Meggy and once she got it, she stood straight with all of her might.

"Can you help me walk?"

"Aww, is little baby learning how to walk? How cute" He made fun of her in his mind and shrugged in response.

"Come on, please?" Meggy used her secret weapon, puppy eyes. However, this had no effect on (Y/N).

"Please?" She tried again but (Y/N) just stood there unfazed.

"Hmph!" Meggy turned her back on (Y/N) with her arms crossed giving off a cute pout.

He glitched again and now appeared infront of Meggy. "Stop doing that! You keep scaring me!" (Y/N) scratched the back of his head meaning that he's sorry then looked at Meggy straight at her eyes which made her cheeks go slightly red.

"W-what are you l-looking at, huh..?" He nodded.

"Huh?" Meggy started to get confused. (Y/N) sighed, then grabbed Meggy's hand by surprise and started walking around the castle.

"H-hey! Slow down!" He did as he was told by the female and slowed down. He gestured his fingers towards the path going around the castle meaning that she should try to run.

Meggy only gave a confident nod and started jogging around, she would trip but regain her posture quickly with (Y/N) by her side. She started to accelerate every lap. Once Meggy got tired, they took a well deserved break by sitting down beside a tree and leaning against it with a slight breeze of the wind softly slapping their skin.

(Y/N) pulled out the book that he was reading a while ago from the pocket of his jacket and started reading again.

"I guess you love reading, huh?" He nodded.

"What are you reading?" (Y/N) moved his book to the side sharing it with Meggy.

"Fantasies huh?" He nodded again.

"Do you like romance?" (Y/N) pulled out several books from inside his jacket and picked the ones with romance.

"Horror?" He picked 3

"Can I borrow some of those romance books?" He nodded once more and let Meggy read one of his books.

They were having a good time until they heard the sound of glass shattering. It was SMG4's PC being thrown out the window.

"My PC!" SMG4 shouted.

"But I was making some spicy memes with that!"

"You won't let me look at spaghetti pics!"

"You want spaghetti? I'll give you spaghetti!" They started to fight. To be honest, they look like a bunch of kids slapping each other's hand for both defense and offense.

Meggy sighed and stood up then ran towards the castle leaving (Y/N) behind.

"Well, at least I get some peace and quiet." He continued reading. After about a minute, he remembered something, or maybe someone. Desti. He saved her from that crazy anime swordsman yesterday. Perhaps she's busy winning splatfest. Or maybe splatfest is over? There's only one way to find out.

(Y/N) stood up and glitched then appeared beside the sewer hole connecting Inkopolis and the Mushroom Kingdom, then jumped down.

Once he got there, he made his way towards Desti's house. Don't ask about how he knew where.

He did a few knocks on the door until a clicking sound went off. When the door opened, Desti was shown, quite shocked.

"H-how did you know my address?!" (Y/N) shrugged in response and also waved.

"H-hello, but seriously, how did you know my address?!" (Y/N) shrugged again not wanting to tell her how.

"Can you at least say something?! Your making communication between us hard! Are you deaf?!" (Y/N) shook his head.

"Not even a single sound?!"

"Nope, you'll never get to hear my voice. Except for a sigh though maybe."

Desti started to get pissed then slammed the door infront of her.

"Welp, I guess that's that." He was about to glitch out and leave until Desti opened her door again.

"H-hey... Sorry about that, I haven't said thank you since yesterday for saving me... Are you, hurt or anything?" (Y/N) shook his head meaning that he's alright.

If your asking about how he saved her, here it is. Sephiroth was about to impale Desti with his sword until (Y/N) stood infront of her blocking the attack. Blood dripped from his stomach where he was stabbed, but he still moved normally which made the Weeaboo lizard scared. (Y/N) took out Sephiroth with only one hit which made him disappear leaving his sword behind. He grabbed it's handle and pulled it out of his body. Damaged, yet he still moves as he was fully healed.

Back to Desti and (Y/N), "Come in, still sorry for what I did a minute ago." Desti apologized. (Y/N) shook his hand infront of him meaning that he doesn't need to.

"What?" (Y/N) sighed and pulled out a small notebook along with a pen and started writing on it. He ripped the page of the notebook where he wrote and gave it to Desti then glitched making himself disappear.

Desti read what was written on the note. I just came here to visit you, just to check if your okay.

Desti smiled. Not like her natural smile which is kinda scary for kids maybe because of her sharp teeth, no. Just a small joyful, genuine smile.
