Jay took a seat beside [name], glancing over in her direction before he proceeded to wipe his hair dry. He set the damp towel down, picking up his glasses from the table and wiping them clean.
Jay held his glasses up, checking for any smudges that were left in his glasses. Seeing that there were none left, he put on his glasses.
"Did you and Vinny go grocery shopping?"
Jay asked [name]. [name] nodded, fiddling with her fingers under the table. A wash of nerves went over her. She wasn't sure how to tell Jay...
She knew that Jay would tell her to go back home. It was better for her anyways, in case she felt sick again. Their mom was a doctor, she knew what was best for her.
