Chapter 5: (Part 1) The Heart Never Lies (The Tollie story)

From the moment they meet Tom & Ellie have pretty much been together, Even When tom has gone on tour or done any shows she has gone with him. Other the last year they have spent maybe a week or two apart, which was starting to take its toll on the couple. Tom was one of those guys that as much as he needed people around him he also needed his space to think, be productive & just be alone. The problem was that if he was alone to long he could get himself back into a dark place where he has been before.

Ellie knew the signs of this happening so did everything to stop this happening but it was actually causing some issues. Tom had begun to become a bit distant the last 3 months & Ellie thought there was someone else. This wasn't 100% true, there was someone else but not as Ellie had thought. Tom had always been close to this person but the last few months they had become a writing partner, someone he could confide in & someone who understood him. They after all had been around each other since 2003, that was 4 almost 5 years ago. So you can see why Tom trusted this person. What made Ellie suspicious was this person was female. But she had no interested in Tom like that,after all she was his best friend's Cousin, yes Natalie.

They had a weird bond that they just got each other straight away. She was 2 years older than Tom & had been through so much with him but Ellie had nothing to worry about. She just needed to trust Tom a bit more. Now in Australia things seemed to be reaching a point where Ellie wanted to talk to Tom about what was going on. Tom on the other hand didn't think there was anything wrong with their relationship but was worried Ellie wanted to end things. Could this couple sort things out? Inside the living room of their Australian home for the next 8 weeks the two were having a drink as the rest of the group had placed themselves in different areas around the house leaving them alone.

After having 2 beers & about to start another two Ellie had commented on this which Tom tried to assure her it was only a couple of beers & that would be it, but Ellie didn't want to fight so she got up to walk away 'No wait, we need to talk' Tom said to her as she pulled her back towards him. 'Talk, funny thats all I've wanted to do for weeks but you're always busy!' she snapped back at him. 'Look i'm sorry, please lets just talk' Tom replied to her in a soft tone. 'Why, it seems like you don't want to be around me' Ellie replied. This comment had hurt tom 'Don't want to be around you, Ellie, I....I don't know where this is coming from' Tom stuttered as he sat down. Ellie could see he was getting upset, she sat down as well to speak to him. 'You seem more busy with the band, book ideas, film idea, being with Nat or just anything other than being with me' she answered him back with so much sadness. 'I ...I have been busy, I am sorry i've not been around much' is all he could reply. 'Like i've asked before, is there someone else?' Ellie questioned him as she grabbed her bottle of beer. 'Someone else?' Tom snapped 'Yes, it seems like you're interests are somewhere else' Ellie continued. 'Do you think I'd cheat on you? I thought you knew how i felt about you' Tom informed her. 'I do, but I cant help how i feel' Ellie responded. 'Do you want to end this' Tom muttered. The thought of Ellie leaving him is something Tom couldn't bare, she was the love of this life. She gave him reason to get up in the morning when he was having a bad day, she made him laugh when he was down, she gave him inspiration for his songs, he wanted to marry her & have kids with her. Now she is asking if he's cheating. 'NO I don't want to end it, not unless you do?' Ellie questioned him back.

'NO WAY' Tom shouted. 'I don't want to be without you, I love you with all my heart & the heart never lies' He added playing with his jumper. 'Then what the hell is going on' Ellie asked him. 'I don't know, I guess I just get carried away with ideas & go into my own world, in which I get lost' Tom replied. 'So you are not interested in anyone else?' Ellie pushed him, 'NO you silly women, if this is to do with Nat, you have nothing to worry about, she is like a sister!' Tom informed her as he finished his bottle of beer. 'Ive loved you from the moment I first met you, you have me butterflies. I had to ask Matt about you right away' Tom revealed to her 'I never knew that, what did he say?' she enquired. 'He told me if I ever hurt you he would kill me then laughed' Tom replied back to her. Ellie knew that Matt would hurt him as he was her protective older cousin, just like Nat was with Dougie. 'Sounds like Matt' she giggled.

'I promise to make more time for us, for you from now on & if I go away into my own world please snap me out of it' Tom promised Ellie. 'I don't need you to promise anything, I just want a night together every so often, I know the band is important to you & would never ask you to stop, just remember me at times' Ellie said as she got up. 'I know you wouldn't ask me to give up McFLY & I just need to make more time for us' Tom said. 'Where are you going?' he added as Ellie walked away a little 'To bed, you coming' Ellie said with a smile as she held out her hand. The pair walked upstairs to their room. Once in the room & the door was closed Tom grabbed her & pinned her up against the wall as his hands move around her back which took her by surprise. This was the Tom that had been missing! He made his way to kissing her as he tried to take his jumper off with didn't go as smoothly as he wanted instead he got caught & ended up falling backwards onto the floor taking Ellie with him.

As the both lay on the floor laughing Tom finally got himself out of his jumper. 'Well fuck sake that wasn't what I was trying to do' Tom said sounding pissed off. 'Well you got me on laying down didn't you' She chucked before kissing him. Before he knew it he was undressed down to his boxers & Ellie was in her underwear. 'You need to be quiet' Ellie chuckled as they both got closer to each other. Hands started to wonder over each others bodies. Not matter how many times she had seen him naked she couldn't get over the fact he was hers. His blonde floppy hair, muscles, toned body, cheeky smile & big brown eyes currently had her weak at the knees, It was obvious what was about to happen by this point & it seemed that things were back to normal for the couple.
