My Sisters Husband

Chapter 5

My mother had left but I knew the real reason now for everything that me and my older sister had gone through, everything was my fathers fault he kept the most biggest secret for 30 years and now that the truth is out, I don't know what to believe from my own father anymore if I can call him that.

Erica- "Leya, do you want to talk about what just happened?"

Leya- " I think it would be best if I just went to bed and slept this day away"

Erica- " Okay, were is mom?"

Leya- " She Left to go better herself, and I don't  blame her. Can you show me my room please?"

Erica- "Yeah, come on."

Walking out of my sister's room we walk three doors down into a big spacious room.

Erica- "This will be your room on the left is your own bathroom and to the right of that is your walk-in closest, If you need anything let me know okay.

  Leya- "Do you know where my bags are?"

Erica-" I'll go get David to bring them up."

Erica leaves me in my new room to go find David. I look around the room thinking of ways that I can make it my own, starting with painting the walls a light purple almost lavender color and putting up some art work, but I'll talk to Erica about that a little later on tomorrow. Walking into the bathroom I turn the shower to the hottest it can go and let it steam up the room before I hear a knock at the door. Walking to the door, opening it I see David standing there with all of my bags.

Leya- "I would have help I know that I packed a lot of stuff."

David- "You good lil bit, is this everything or is there more?"

Leya- "No this is it, I'm pretty sure if there was more my "Father" would have helped you."

David- "Well he actually was going to bring you, your stuff but Erica told him to leave you be."

Leya- "Smart decision."

David- " I don't mean to be a pest, but what did you mean when you said that you hoped I was ready for the bullshit family I married into?"

Leya- "You'll soon find out, David every family has it secrets and lies but I never thought that the thing's I learned tonight would happen to my family, and now I see why my mother is the way she is. No it doesn't make what she has done to me and my sister right but it answers some of the questions I had for her."

David- " Well I'm not going to pressure you to tell me, because like you said I'll find out soon. But I hope that everything goes better for you while you are here Leya."

Leya- "Thank you, David. Goodnight."

David-"You are welcome. Goodnight, Leya."

*The next morning*
Leya's POV
*Alarm song*
" I'm just tryin' to figure it out, it's a lot comin' with this shit, lose a lot, gain a lot"
Grabbing my phone to turn off my alarm, I stuff my face back underneath my pillow. Hearing my room door open I knew who it was immediately.
Erica-"Leya, it's time to get up."
Leya-" Get out Erica I have an alarm for a reason please don't do that."
Erica- "Do what I was just making sure you got up because you have to find something to do, you can't just sit in the house all day Leya."
Leya-" Get out mom!" I said because she was really starting to sound like our mother right now and that's why I need to hurry up and get a job so I can get my own place.
Erica-" What ever I'm not mom, just get up."she said walking out of the room and slamming the door.
Getting up I walk into the bathroom to brush my teeth and get dressed in a light blue track suit with a cropped hoodie and some white yeezys. Walking down stairs into the kitchen I see my sister making David's plate, while he sits there reading something on his laptop.
