Margaret Everlee is our adorable protagonist. An artist, trying to find her place in the competitive world of fine arts, despite her timid nature.
James Barnes is a ruthless businessman. Having worked as a hitman for the mob in his early twenties, he's back in the normal world, navigating life as a CEO of his own company. Until he meets Maggie and everything is shifted.
Also he has tattoos in this. Oops.

My absolute best friend helped me piece together most of this plot and also helped me create who Maggie is. She is our literal lovechild, so keep it positive. We wanted her to be that sort of dorky, awkward, shy girl that we can all relate to at times! If you don't like it, then don't read it.
