"Baby, you light up my world like nobody else. The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed. But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell, you don't know-oh-oh, you don't know your beautifu-oh-oh, that's what makes you beautiful." I sang in the shower, as I finished brushing the conditioner out.
"Ana! Quit dilly-dallying and hurry up!" My best friend, Julia yelled at me from her bedroom. I laughed to myself, then got out of the shower and got dressed. I wore my signature striped shirt, my cool scarf Julia bought me, my jeans, and most importantly, my Toms. After applying make-up, I ran out of the room and I ran to the kitchen. It was a very boring apartment, it hasn't been decorated yet. I haven't even finished unpacking my suitcase! Anyway, I ran in to see Julia drinking coffee, as usual.
"I don't understand why you drink coffee. It just keeps you short." I said, with my usual hyper energy. I skipped to the fridge, and grabbed my carrots. I shut the fridge door, then sat across from my grumpy roommate.
"Why so glum?" I asked, still way too hyper.
"It's 1:30 in the afternoon. I slept in! I missed my morning classes." She whined.
"Actually, I'm waking up quite early today!" I explained while eating a carrot. I always sleep in extremely late, and I'm a very deep sleeper. I ate another carrot, as I watched Julia drink her coffee. I know I hate coffee, but with a ton of sugar and milk I'd be fine. She doesn't even put those inside! Strange girl... What's the funniest thing is I'm older than her. I'm the oldest of all my friends, actually. She's 18 still, and I recently turned 19. She got up from her chair and put her coffee on a coaster.
"I need to tell you something. Something so important that you're gonna scream when I tell you. Okay?" She said to me. I stood up cautiously, taking my carrots with me. I simply nodded, as she smiled like a maniac.
"So, my dad works for all bands and stuff or whatever in the recording studio, right?" She said. I nodded again, nibbling on a carrot.
"Well... He got us tickets and backstage tickets for a concert." She said.
"Who?" I asked.
"Get ready. Cause' tonight, we are going to see none other than ONE DIRECTION!" She yelled. I screamed at the top of my lungs, and we jumped in circles screaming. She is the BIGGEST Harry Styles fan I know, and I am the biggest Louis, The Tommo, Tomlinson's! I get to meet my idol? I must be dreaming!
"Do I look alright?" I asked Julia, as I finished my last touches of my outfit. I decided the look would go better with some suspenders. I looked in the mirror, and smiled.
"You look like a girl version of Louis!" She told me.
"But I probably wore this stuff before him." I huffed.
"Let's go, because quite frankly I want to leave you faster." She and I always said stuff like that, no hard feelings. I squealed, grabbed my phone, and my notebook to draw stuff in while I'm waiting. I took her arm and dragged her out of the complex down to her car. I don't know how to drive, so she always has to take me everywhere. She started driving, while I quietly munched on a crisp as I listened to their songs through my ipod.
As the minutes kept going along, I kept getting more and more anxious. I wonder if Louis will notice me! Then we would magically fall in love, and ride away on my pet unicorn, Pablo. Oops, that was a dream I had last night. Oh well.
"Ana. Ana... ANA!" Julia yelled to get my attention.
"Yes Professor Grumpy?"
"We're here." She said slowly. I looked up, and saw she was right. On impulse, I screamed. Some girls looked at me oddly, but I have never let that put me down. Haha, like that song. 'Words can't bring me down!' True. I dragged Julia to the front of the place, and she laughed at me while shaking her head.
