Rwby Volume 8 review/discussion book

Episode 1 Review

So when it comes to first episodes this leaves me kinda wanting a bit more but I did enjoy this episode, not as much as previous episode 1 episodes

Salem and Cinder working together again is going to be not that exciting cause it looks like Cinder won't listen cause Salem don't want Cinder to go after Penny though Cinder wants that maiden power

The whole point of accessing a terminal to go get help is alright depending on which one they go after

The one in Ironwood's office or the one surrounded by an Atlas military base

I saw the scene where all heros are all back together discussing things I don't buy the tension between the heros there is right now cause it seemingly comes out of nowhere(though the episode title Divide makes these have more sense) and the fact I know things will resolve soon enough cause come on, it will

Ironwood contacting Penny and Ruby trying to say hey help everyone with us made me roll my eyes cause I knew it wasn't going to work

Ironwood, best scenes so far, if one character will have to carry the volume it will be Ironwood

Now the scene began with ace ops(still can't get that bullshit stomp of a fight out of my head) looking at Clover's dead body and Harriet being irritated makes me think ace ops will be stomped again later in the volume

The conversation between Winter and Ironwood makes me believe Winter will stay loyal to him, I think cause my next big talking point is why I say maybe

And the scene where board members(they were in volume 7) stormed down the hallway to question Ironwood was great cause they Ironwood shoots the dude in the fucking head cause he will do anything to protect Atlas is great though the reactions from Winter and Harriet make me think a certain might happen though I don't want it to.

In all, not bad but it could have been better but I am satisfied, though if too many bad things(in terms of quality) happen, my satisfaction will go down fast

I guess cause this was set up for certain things but I do question that some scenes do seen like they already happened cause when a character was talking, it seemed to be more a narrating/voicd over

Again in all, I am satisfied for now

One small detail real quick, we all know that one happy huntress character from volume 7 was trans, well is the other one also trans? The voice coming out if this 'guy' sounded very feminine to me, don't know about you though
