"Wish I had access that kind of stone when we'd first come to Earth. Might've booted a few people through and saved us a world of hurt- maybe even a world."

Tracking this prisoner Hope makes it abundantly clear to us that we're not allowed to kill him. I say 'to us' but I truly mean Echo whose murderous stare has not faltered since arriving on SkyRing. Hope tells us he's our ticket to Bardo. When the clock ticks down to zero the Disciples come for him- his time served to completion. When they come for him we steal the invisibility suits, arm up, and jump to Bardo to save Bellamy and Octavia from whatever mess they've gotten wrapped into.

The only daunting part of this well thought plan?

Five years.

I cannot wait for five years. I've been trapped one too many times to do it again. Two years in the SkyBox, One and a half on Earth, and Six under Earth. With the anxiety over Bellamy beginning to creep on my nerves, I can't deal with the additional weight of five years stuck on a prison planet. Stepping over a log I can feel my heart thumping harder at the daunting thought.

I can't do it.

I can't.

"Not bad for a prison planet" Echo murmurs beside me as we continue traipsing clueless after Hope.

"The isolation is the prison", Gabriel impressively tells her "Like solitary. Depending on the time dilation relative to Bardo you could easily serve a twenty-year sentence in a weekend."

"Efficient", I mutter, trudging after Hope who blitzes through the forest as if she's run it a million times "Wish I had access to that kind of stone when we'd first come to Earth. Might've booted a few people through and saved us a world of hurt- maybe even a world."

It's quiet for a moment until Echo seems to fall into my game "Who would've been top of the list?"

Tilting my head, I think on it for a moment "Jaha."

"The man who found the Second Dawn and saved humanity on Earth a second time?" Gabriel surprises me by rating off.

Gabriel watching me curiously I assume Octavia told him stories like she told Hope. With a disdainful chuckle, I rephrase "The man who led me to kill my best friend and tried to have me locked out to face the second death wave." Peeking past Echo, I arch my brow to cynically cheer "But all hail humanities saviour."
