"MOM, hurry up! You're going to make me late for the first day of school!!" I shouted.
"I'm coming, I'm coming get your little brother in the car. I already started it and I'll be out in two minutes." my mom said.
"Josh let's go." I said pick up his book bag and heading for the door.
"No! I don't wanna go!" my little brother pouted, arms crossed over his chest with a cute little pouty face indicating he was serious.
"Aw Joshy why not? Aren't you excited for your first day of third grade?" I said baby talking him because I know he hates that.
"Stop talking to me like I'm a baby!"
"Well then don't act like one and just get in the car." I stated firmly. With that Josh walked out the door with me right behind him.
"Have a great first day." My mom said waving from the driver seat of the car as I shut the dorr of the passenger seat.
"Ugh really? I'm not Josh mom..." I said rolling my eyes and walking into school.
"Analese! Hey wait up!" I turn around to see my three best friends Andrea, Daniella and Haley.
"Oh hey guys!" I said running up to them giving them a hug.
"Ugh, I can't believe we are back in this hellhole!" Andrea said while we walked through the doors of our high school.
"Yea, Is it me or did summer fly by?" Haley asked.
"Yea it definitely flew by. Get ready for the shit load of homework and cold weather.... how fun!" Daniella said with the obvious hint of sarcasm in her voice.
I meet these girls last year in our freshman year of high school. I am so grateful that I meet them, because they are the only people that get my weird goofy self. I honestly didn't think I would make friends in high school, but nope they proved me wrong.
"So we have to go to our homerooms?" Daniella asked.
"Yea, to get our schedules and then from there on it's a normal day." I answered.
"Well this is where I go, later baes. Hopefully I'll see you in one of my classes!" Andrea said walking away to her classroom.
I walked down to the other end of the hallway to my homeroom. I sat in a chair in the front of the class and waited for the teacher to give me my schedule and other useless papers that I would just throw out.
When I finally got my schedule it wasn't all too bad...
Period 1 Gym
Period 2 Trigonometry
Period 3 Chemistry
Period 4 Lunch
Period 5 Global
Period 6 English honors
Hmm not bad I could work with this!
I walked to gym and the period flew by. The gym teacher just gave us our lockers and told us to come with proper gym clothing the next day.
I was making my way up the stairs looking down at my paper when my heart caught in my throat. Baam I was on the stairs face front in seconds.
Great, just great how embarrassing. I can not just believe I fell down the stairs, on the first day of school. Why am I such a klutz?
I quickly got up smoothed down my burgundy skirt and rushed to find my trigonometry class.
Sitting down in the first seat right in the middle of class, I waited for the teacher to start talking so I could forget about the humiliating fall.
About ten minutes into the period everyone that was lost and couldn't find their way finally made it into the class. Except I was wrong. Halfway into the period the squeaky door opened. I looked at the door to see who was coming in...and then I froze. The most hottest guy I have ever seen walked in. The room was dead silent and I was positive that everyone could hear my heart beating quickly.
Wow was it hot in here? Or is it me burning up? I can't be blushing, man I don't even know this guys name.
"Hello Mr. Roland, please take a seat." the teacher said.
"Oh come on Mr. Wyler, we don't have to be all formal here. You know it's Sammy and not 'Mr. Ronald'"
Ha, well now I know his name!
"Can you just please take a seat? It's the first day Sammy." Mr. Wyler said.
Sammy just shrugged and started to make his way towards the back of the class. I couldn't help but let my eyes linger as he walked witch such confidence. His plain black t-shirt hugging his biceps in all the right places. He sat down and caught me looking at him. The world stopped, before I could quickly look away he winked at me. Turning around all I could think about was THANK GOD FOR TRIGONOMETRY!
"Wait, wait, wait... he winked at you?!?" Daniella exclaimed.
"Yea he did! OMG I wished you were there! He's so hot!" I said. "I think he's a junior though, I never saw really noticed him last year."
"OMG hey guys I guess we all have lunch together!" Haley said walking towed the table me and Danielle were sitting at with Andrea right by her side.
"ANALESE MEET A GUY!" Danielle blurted out.
"WHAT?!" Andrea and Haley yelled at the same time.
"No I didn't shut up Danielle!"
"His name is Sammy and he's in her Trig class. Oh and get this, he winked at her!" Danielle squealed.
"Wait a minute, Sammy? As in Sammy Ronald?" Haley asked.
"Actually yea, you know him?"
"No, but I know of him. He's a really cute junior but Analese he's bad news."
"What do you mean?"
"Well I mean he's just not a good person for you. I mean yea he is really hot but he isn't the guy for you so don't get attached. He's just a bad student. He never goes to class, he doesnt listen to anyone and word is that he's part of a gang." Haley said.
"Okay, first off he was in class today, so he does go to class otherwise I would have never known who he is." I pointed out "Second, do you even know if the gang thing is true?"
"Well no, but..."
"But nothing, since when do we judge people on rumors? I'm not going to and when I know for a fact that he is in a gang I won't think that he is. You do know in this country your innocent until proven guilty!"
"Yea no one cares!" Andrea said
"Hey Analese, speaking of lover boy." Daniella said nodding her head to the entrance of the cafeteria.
Sammy was walking in with a girl lingered on his hand. He scanned the cafeteria when his eyes landed on me. Slowly he turned to the girl and whispered something into her ear.
"Umm, why is he coming over here?" Haley asked.
"Shut up, shut up, shut up." I scolded.
"Hey I didn't catch your name." Sammy said. "Your in my Trig class? Right?"
"Uh... y-yea. I am." I said stuttering. Gosh idiot! "I'm Analese."
"Sammy, so just wanted to check up on you and see if you weren't hurt."
"Hurt? Why would I be hurt?" I asked utterly confused.
"You know, from your fall down the stairs?" he said and the girl with him laughed.
With that Sammy walked away, taking with him any hope I had of getting through this year and ever being with him.
