The Turtles, Splinter, and April are vacationing in Japan. April was driving to the Hamato Dojo. "Be prepared, my family. We are going to a place that I haven't been in a long time.." Splinter said in a distressing tone. "For a minute, I thought this would be a fun trip. Guess I'm wrong." Mikey frowned. He's not having fun on this trip yet. "It's alright, Mikey. I'm sure it will be fun once we get there. Don't let Dad take your enthusiasm, Mikey." Donnie patted Mikey's shoulder. "Can you please just tell us where we are going so we can disagree with you?"
Splinter turn to Donnie and Mikey. "The less you know, the better it will be." On the road, it had quite a view Mikey and Donnie looks at the windows as they were happy to be in Japan. Leo on the other hand had other things on his mind. He took out some pictures of Karai and smiled, feeling very calm. Seeing his gram gram made him feel happy as he was so inspired by her. Leo switched his pictures and suddenly Raph spoke and scared Leo. "That picture is my favorite."
Leo jumped and held his chest as he drops the pictures. "Darn it." Leo picks up the pictures and gives Raph a little glare. "How long have you been watching me?"
Raph shrugged with a smile on his face. He just wanted the goods. "Hmm. I'd say ever since we been on this trip. I wanted to look at pictures of gram gram too. Anyways, are we going to tell Donnie and Mikey about Gram Gram?"

"Tell what about her? Tell them that she's missing and not dead? I don't think they'll believe that, Raph. There's barely any info on them. Why should we get them in a panic when it could lead to another dead end?"

"I don't know. about honesty?" Raph suggested with a nervous smile. Leo didn't like that idea and looked up with his finger on his chin as he pretends to think. "Mhm. Mhm." Raph's mood was brought down by the fake thinking and sighed. "Why do you always do that?"
"Um. Do what?" Leo asked and blinked at Raph confusingly.

"Where you pretend to think just to ignore something." Raph asked curiously. "Listen, Raph. I don't know about you but it's my responsibility to protect my brothers from finding out something that could upset them." Leo looked out the window as he was feeling worried.

"Well then. I really shouldn't be judging but I remembered you didn't like me keeping secrets from you guys but what if this secret. I don't know. Tries to tear us apart? You taught me a valuable lesson, Leo. I just want to give you the advice you gave me." Leo did it again with the pretend thinking and ignoring. Raph got bored of telling him and rolled his eyes before he faces the window followed by a sigh. Raph's mood was brighten by the view of the outside. They finally approached the dojo.
April parks the car and everyone unbuckled their seat belts and gets out of the car. "Here we are guys. We are at the Hamato Clan Dojo." April said and walked over to Splinter. "Quickly, my sons. Let's go in before he catches us." Everyone was on their way to the door. Although, they got caught. An old man walked out of the dojo. "Who are you? What are you all doing here with those kappa and rat demons."

"Kon'nichiwa, Jiji." Not the best welcoming but its was understandable since his appearance is way more different than it use to be.
"Yoshi! My grandson. I'm happy to see you. Are you here to fulfill your destiny to protect the Hamato Clan?"
Splinter signal half and half with his hand. "Eh. Yes and no. I failed at keeping the last piece of the dark armor and Shredder is back but not fully himself but I'm ready to protect humanity from that monster. I'm really sorry for not listening to your stories and shutting you out grandfather. It's been so hard. I don't want to end up like my mother and leaving my sons and daughter alone. They're not fully trained yet."
