I will admit that I was shaking, who wouldn't be? My best friends were trying to calm me down and boost my confidence but it was taking longer than it did a week ago when I was preparing.
"Come on baekhyun! You're literally amazing!" Little Suho said
"Yeah! I agree!" Little Jongdae agreed
I breathed in and out, being 8 was harder than it looked...
"What if he says no?" I asked
"Then screw him!" Little Suho said
"Yeah! Screw him!" Little Xiumin followed
I smiled and nodded, "I got this!"
"That's the spirit!" They all said
:: Author POV ::
Chanyeol was in his dad's work building learning about how to manage money and workers so Baekhyun had to wait at Chanyeol's house backyard while talking to his mom with some tea and desert.
"What brings you here, Baekhyun?" Chanyeol's mom, Taemin, asks.
"Oh uh..."
"Came to be lovey dovey with my son?" Taemin jokes but made Baekhyun blush a lot.
"Oh?" Taemin notices Baekhyun's blush and gasped, he was joking but actually got it right??
"Wait a minute! You guys are.. ya know?!!" Taemin asked
"No no!" Baekhyun blushed more at the thought of being with his crush
"I just... have a crush on him..." Baekhyun played with his fingers shyly and looked down
Taemin covered his mouth with his hand, he shipped them for so long and couldn't believe that it actually came true! He was delighted and was so determined to make his confession happen!
"That's why you're here!" Taemin said a little too loudly
Baekhyun nodded shyly
"Okay! I'll help with absolutely everything! I'll prepare his favorite food and you both will sit at the table and eat ALONE, I'll make sure Minho doesn't keep him for too long today!" Taemin smiled
"R-Really?!" Baekhyun was shocked
"Yes! Hopefully he returns his feelings..."
"Yeah..." Baekhyun sadly said
"You know... you're smarter for your age, you know?" Taemin said
"Really?" Baekhyun looked at Taemin
"Has no one told you? You always act older than your actual age and everyone is shocked when they hear that you're only 8, they usually think you're 14 or something!" Taemin explained
Baekhyun smiled, no one has told him that and it was nice hearing it from Taemin.

Chanyeol arrived with his father, Minho, and they separated once Taemin called over Chanyeol.
"Chanyeol! Baekhyun is here~!" Taemin said happily
"Really?" Chanyeol said emotionless with monotone.
Taemin nodded, "He's at the table in the backyard, he helped make your favorite!"
"Alright..." Chanyeol said.
