Tony Stark woke up groggily. The room around him was dark, but strangely... unfamiliar. Tony sat up, now on high alert. It felt like he was sitting on some sort of chair...

"Ah, Mr. Stark, looks like you were the first to wake up." A dry voice with a distinct British accent came from the shadows. Tony got into a stance, preparing to activate the Mark L Iron Man suit.
"Please don't. I don't wish to fight you, Tony. It would destroy the theatre." The voice said. Tony felt like the voice was speaking the truth, but still didn't let down his guard.

"Okay, Mr. Disembodied Voice, let's say I bite. You said we're in a theatre right? What do you want me to watch?" Tony asked, before pausing to think for a second or two. "God, I hope it's not the opera, it better not be the opera." Tony mumbled to himself.
The voice chuckled. "Of course I'm not going to make you watch the opera, that wouldn't be very entertaining for my reade-for you or I, nor the other people I brought to join you."

Alarms went off in Tony's head. "Other people?" Before Tony had a chance to say anything else, the lights were turned on, blurring Tony's vision for a few seconds as his eyes adjusted to the chance of lighting.

"M-Mr. Stark? Where--are we?" A voice all too familiar to Tony called to him. "Kid? What are you doing here?" Tony said, shocked. "This has to be a dream..." Tony muttered to himself quietly, so Peter couldn't hear.

"Tony? Tony where are we!" A frantic Pepper Potts yelled next to Tony. "Is this another one of your 'surprises', because I'm getting really tired of them!" Tony turned to Pepper. "I wish it was Pep, but it isn't. This was something out of my control." Tony explained, still shocked. "To be honest, I thought this was all a dream, but then I remembered that my brain probably couldn't replicate one of your freak outs."

"I don't know if confirmation that this wasn't your doing makes me feel better or worse." Pepper muttered. Tony chuckled at Pepper's remark, as another person in their aisle began to wake. Spider-Man's Guy in the Chair, Ned Leeds.

"Peter? Oh my god Peter why are we in a cinema oh my god oh my god WAIT A MINUTE IS THAT TONY STARK?!" Ned blurted out, clearly freaking out. "Ned! What are you doing?!" Peter yelled, turning to look at Ned only to see...
"Sup loser." Michelle spoke up next to Peter. "M-MJ? You're here too?" Peter said, shocked. "Also, how long have you been awake?"

"Long enough. For the record though, I'm almost glad I got seated here, and not with those idiots." Michelle replied, looking up at the Midtown High students above them. Peter turned his head as well, only to jolt in surprise. "Our entire class is here?! Geez, how big is this theatre?" Peter asked no one in particular.

Meanwhile, the Midtown High kids were comically freaking out. Some of the teachers were trying to get the students to quiet down, however some of the other teachers *cough*, Mr Harrington, *cough*, were also freaking out with the students. Flash Thompson looked around, spotting Peter, Ned and MJ sitting a few rows down from them. He kept looking through that aisle, seeing Tony Stark sitting right next to Peter. Wait, Tony Stark?!

"Hey Penis! Never thought you'd hire a Tony Stark cosplayer to make yourself look legit. Didn't think you had the money in you!" Flash teased. Tony growled. "You never told me you were bullied at school, kid." Tony said to Peter. "Yeah, well I guess it never came up in conversation." Peter lied. In reality he just didn't want Tony worrying about his problems, as he had enough on his plate as it was.

Steve Rogers woke up in the aisle under Tony and Peter. Next to him was James Barnes, who had been awake for slightly longer than him. At first, Steve was confused, but seeing Bucky next to him eased his mind. "Hey Buck, I thought you were taking a few year long hiatus." Steve remarked, to which Bucky chuckled. "Well that's just the thing Steve, I was. Don't really know how I got here." Bucky explained. "Now that you mention it, neither do I. I don't really know where we are even, for that matter." Steve commented.

"You think we got a super-secret ride to the opera?" Bucky joked, to which Steve stifled a laugh. "Hey, Cap. On your left." Sam Wilson spoke, getting the attention of the two. "Sam? You're here too?" Steve said, a bit confused. "Yeah... Y'know, you're looking a lot less wrinkly than when I last saw you." Sam commented, to which Steve looked at him strangely.

"Oh... That's right. I should probably explain that, huh? A lot of you are from different time periods from one another, though some of you are from the same time period as one another." Steel said in a simple manner.

Suddenly, a collective "Excuse me what the fuck?" Was heard across the theatre.

A/N: So yeah, that was the first chapter of this story! Fairly humble beginnings, but you have to start somewhere. Next chapter will address the cliffhanger of this one, and basically introduce the characters to each other, along with what time period they're from. Simple stuff. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. The next chapter will be out sometime soon, though I'm not making any promises when. Until next time!
