Come Back To Me(1D)

Losing someone is a bitter feeling. It leaves you there asking. Why? What brought this to me? Where did they go? 

It's a harsh cruel thing to leave someone behind you, when they thought things were okay. 

When someone leaves you, they take all the good feelings with them, but leave behind all the bad ones.

It makes you wonder what you did wrong, and when you doubt yourself, you start to think of yourself as worthless.

I would know.

Her name is Brianna Jasper. And she left me behind. 

I loved her with every ounce of heart I had. But she left me behind. I know why. We weren't meant for each other. Our paths crossed, so that we could learn love. But we weren't meant to last forever. 

I want her to find love. So even though we are no longer together, and never will be again, I want her to move on, so I will help her find love.

Dear Brianna,

You will never love me as you once did. I will never love you like that either. We weren't meant to be together. I will always love you, but in that first love type of way. Not in the way where you think you need to be together forever. But the kind where it's almost a sad love. Where it truly is love, but it's not true love. 

We will find love again. You WILL find love again. I promise you.

I folded it up. I put it in the envolope I had sitting next to me, already prepared with the address written on the front. I put the stamp on and licked the envolope shut. 

The mailman started to pull up, so I got up and went outside and handed it to him. 

"Have a good day sir" he told me.

It's cold outside. Snowflakes are falling gently. If Brianna were here we'd be inside with hot cocoa and movies, and be snuggling on the couch. But my Brianna is gone. And she will not come back to me.

One day she will find another love. One day I will find another love. 

Our paths were meant to cross, but were not meant to stop there.

Our paths kept moving.

And maybe they will cross again.

But they won't stop there either.

My dearest Brianna, have a good life. May it be filled with love and wonder.
