Chapter 6 True Love: Memories or dreams

Vanessa was at the prison working as usual while Valerie and Violet were at school and Reed was taking care of Ven who just got out of the hospital a few days ago

Vanessa was still thinking about her son calling her by her name. It was just weird that her son was calling her Vanessa and not mom even though Ven maybe knew that she is his mom

Meanwhile Reed was playing some video games with his brother

Reed: "You are pretty good at this."

Ven: "To be honest I have no idea what I'm doing."

Ven said while just randomly pushing the buttons of the controller

Ven: "Well I think I won."

Reed: "Dang... you are good."

Ven: "Arghh..."

Reed: "What's wrong?"

Ven: "Nothing, it's just that my head and my arm hurts a bit."

Reed: "Do you want your painkillers?"

Ven: "Nah... I'll just go to bed. Can you help me?"

Reed: "Sure come on get up."

For Reed was really weird too. It was like his brother was now his friend, an old friend

Ven just laid down on his bed trying to get some rest, but it was kind of painfully

Ven: "Could you please close the curtains and the door?"

Reed: "Sure."

Then he proceed to close the curtains

Reed: "There you go."

Ven: "Thanks."

Ven started to fell asleep

Reed then left the room and closed the door

Reed: "Love you bro..."

He said quietly trying not to wake up his brother

Later that day

Violet and Valerie were on the bus going home

Violet: "It's weird not having Ven with us."

Valerie: "What are you talking about he's at home?"

Violet: "Yeah. But what I mean is that it is like if he was not there. Like if he was a complete stranger sleeping in our brother's bed in his room."

Valerie: "Don't say that. He is our brother."

Violet: "I know but I just haven't got used to it."

Valerie: "I know it's hard but we have to be strong for him."

Ava was hearing the conversation and then she was thinking

"Ven... I don't know if you still remember me but I still love and I hope you remember that soon"

She was kind of sad not because of Coco and him, she was sad because she still loves him but maybe he doesn't know that anymore

Coco who was next to Ava notice that she was sad

Coco: "Y-You are thinking of him aren't you?"

Ava: "What? OH yeah. You don't?"

Coco: "A-All the time. I miss him..."

Ava: "Don't worry I'm sure he still remembers you?"

Coco then just sat in silence

Valerie and Violet finally arrived home
